Papa John's Pizza in Kingston upon Hull

Tried it few times and can defiantly say better than dominos and much cheaper . Our favourite takeaway now

Food is tasteless with little bit of meats on top. So disappointed at the quality.

Need to update delivery times on just eat if your not going to stay open till the times it states

Got a pizza and jalapeno bites, pizza was ok but the bites came as a solid ball of mush. Complained to Papa John's customer service and was told they couldn't do anything because I ordered through Just Eat. Dire service all round.

Amazing service from a gentleman named Sai, very patient with us and explained the offers very well. Very impressed with telephone mannerism and the pizzas were perfect temperature, taste and lactose intolerant friendly (vegan cheese!) 10/10 best pizza in Hull

Horrible service. Had an issue with the order and the "manager" who wouldn't even give me their first name was shouting at me and talking over me not allowing me to actually say what the issue was. Talking down to me and actually left me shaking and in tears after the phone call. Order there all the time but won't be now as it's probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm not usually one to complain and just had a small issue that needed sorting that was escalated greatly by the staff member. Didn't even complain previously when they gave us real cheese instead of dairy free with an allergy and this could have been reported. Staff members attitude was aggressive immediately and they had only just opened.

Pizza was was absolutely lovely but not worth the price.Poor Selection on menu.Front Counter employee went out of his way to be helpful.Not sure how they justify 21 quid for an average sized pizza though

Very nice pizzas but this particular papa John's will almost guarantee to get your order wrong or forget a side and then won't re deliver it as a priority

I'm normally not one to complain and leave bad reviews, or lodge complaints and will always try resolving any issues with the store first but tonight this is ridiculous!Issue 1, ordered a bbq chicken pizza, and received a pizza that resembled a chicken club (I'm assuming by the website description) and also missed off an extra dip that we paid for, phoned the restaurant and they sent out the right one with the extra dip, sorted. *and to add in for later, said we could keep the first pizza*Issue 2, the BBQ chicken pizza came, in good time too which was Brill, but it honestly looked like the bottle of sauce had exploded on top of the pizza! (will add pictures if given the option), I rang the restaurant again as I never ordered extra bbq sauce, and I've ordered this pizza before and it definitely didnt look like that! (not even joking when I say you couldn't even pick a piece up it was spilling over the edges) asked politely at this point for a refund and the lady on the phone said she would get her manager to ring me back.Issue 3. The manager took 30 minutes to call me back, (during this time I ate half of the wrongly sent chicken club pizza as I was starving, and had previously been told to keep it). This is my main issue, the manager was rude beyond belief, I've never ever had customer service like it!! I was spoken too like a piece of dirt on the bottom of his shoe!I was told:• The pizza was made how it should be• He had 17 years experience and was trained by head office• To look at the website and see what the pizza was meant to look like (I did this and it looks nothing like it should)• I was told the pizza I previously ordered that had a reasonable amount of sauce on it, and was actually edible, was made wrongly• I was told he couldn't give any type of refund• That it was my fault for not ordering with light bbq sauce• That the next time I order I would have to ring up and ask for less sauce• I was also told that after 20 minutes the sauce will spread, well the pizza was delivered (and I was told this multiple times) in 12 minutes of me ringing up, and the photo taken within 15, therefore it looked like this way before it hit the 20 minute mark• He was really rude and arrogant and really upset me• He told me the only way I could have another pizza was if I could give him 2 full pizzas back, i said to him that i could give him 1 and a half pizzas back as I had to eat half of the first delivered pizza, (I'm 30 weeks pregnant and was absolutely starving)• I was then told well unlucky theres nothing he could doMy mum then rang up the restaurant as I put the phone down, due to being spoken to rudely, and it really upset me so she wanted to speak to him...He said to my mum• That head office had already blocked me so I wouldn't be able to ring• That he was blocking me from ordering as I just wanted free pizza ( I offered to give him a full pizza back plus what was left from the first pizza)• He also told my mum he couldn't do any refund as I'd eaten a pizza and a half, (I told him he could have a pizza and a half back as I had to eat half due to it taking half an hour to be contacted by him and being starving)The main issue I have overall is the way I was spoken to by the manager, it's not good to be receiving that low a level of customer service at all....let alone being stressed out, and being made to feel bad for eating half a pizza when pregnant....the girl who was working on the phone was lovely and polite.

Let me start by saying I wanted to give three and a half stars, the reasons for my rating are as follows:The last time we ordered here it was hot and fresh, (I appreciate it was very busy), but this time that wasn't the case, however the pizza was still awesome, I ordered the chicken burger pizza, it could've been a bit more cheesy and it was a little bit dry but still awesome.The cheesy jalapenos were beautiful, and went fantastically well with the special garlic, that dipping sauce is something else!Lastly, the potato tots, I wasn't keen on at all, they were a bit undercooked and not really what I expected. Just offer chips Papa John's! We all love chips!Thanks for remaining open in this difficult time.
