Pie in Kingston upon Hull

Friendly service. But the layout of the pies was a bit dissapointing, the labels were upside down so it was a trouble seeing the options. We ordered the cauliflower curry pie, but recieved the chicken curry. This was frustrating and quite poor considering I am vegetarian. However, I gave it to my partner and he enjoyed it (but didn't enjoy the mash).

Lovely selection of pies and tarts, and very tasty. Traditional and some more interesting meat pies and good a choice of vegetarian ones.

Beautiful Pie & Mash ! Friendly staff ! This was my first visit , a bit of tea before we were at the cinema ....was not disappointed ! Will become a regular thing 👌

Tasty food (I had the mined beef, mash, gravy and cup of tea) and good service. First pie I've had in Hull that had good pastry.

Let down. Having eaten from here before I thought the portion sizes and options looked good and did seem enjoyable the first time.Just took an hour and a half for food to arrive with the website estimating 45 minutes. We decided to cook some veg at home because they only offered 2 different types of peas as a veg. Didn’t remember so little option last time. Sadly, I reckon we must have been on the drivers last drop off, because our food was cold.Another thing that I kind of don’t understand is. If you’re going to be a place that sells sides individually, then I think you should package them individually.My wife’s came with something in her box which she didn’t even want and I ordered as an extra for myself.Isn’t nice writing a bad review, but I feel out of pocket for the experience

Comfort food on a cold day. It arrived luke warm (to be expected) pie was on top of the mash in a small box which was awkward to get out of. I ordered garden peas & got mushy peas, so a lot of mash on one plate along with the gravy. Hence three stars. It tasted delicious, can't complain at all here. I suggest to go & collect as the £3 delivery charge made the meal expensive for what you get.

Delicious, and reasonably priced food in an authentically styled ‘London pie and mash shop’ but with the added bonus of good ol’ friendly northern/(Australian)customer service. Spot on. Will definitely be back.

Been here multiple times now and the quality of the food is great, steak and ale pies are lovely as is the minted lamb would recommend to anyone :)

Great to see some amazing home comfort food to eat in. A little slice of lomdon culture in hull. Good selection of pies and sides. Deserts sounds amazing some great specials to come.I got the chicken balti with chips, peas snd liquor. My dad got the steak and ale and it looked great woth big chunks of meat.Food was great. Great price. Thry offer delivery snd the staff were chatty and friendly. Will be going back. Nice to see somwthing different in newland.

Just had lamb and mint pie with mash and peas delivered. Food was piping hot with great portion sizes. Deliciously tasty, best mash I've ever had! Proper comfort food on a drizzly day 😋
