Had a takeaway from here last night took over an hour to arrive and was very disappointed when it eventually did. The burger bun was very soggy and the burgers tasted like cheap ones.

Have used Raj Spice many times before and have obviously been impressed enough to return but I doubt we will be back any time soon, such was the lack of service and quality of food this evening ..First of all the meal was 90 minutes late and when I called to ask it's whereabouts I was told there has been a glitch with the booking system and that they were in the throws of packing the meal there and then. Half an hour later, I called again as it still hadn't arrived and the guy I spoke to was extremely short with me, clearly unwilling to discuss anything at all about it.The meal finally arrived, delivered by a very amenable, apologetic chap, (the only reason I give the 2 star rating) but when opened, it was such a let down... Keema naan breads had NO mince in them, Peshawar naans had no filling and were actually burnt! The main meals all lacked content... 5 small pieces of beef in the passanda, the same in the bhuna and a serious lack of vegetables in the Samba. It isn't good enough to rely on filling the trays with sauce!!This is in no means just a gripe brought about by extremely slow delivery times but rather one driven by a massive sense of disappointment given the £47 price tag! Seriously NOT value for money and I am afraid we will look elsewhere in the future.

The one star is being generous because it's Christmas. What a joke of a place. Had food slot sorted for 8 o'clock and it is now 10 past 10 and still no show. My daughter rang about an hour ago and was told it's on its way. When she said how late it was she was told," Well it's Christmas Eve!" Think the delivery driver is walking. Completely money grabbing place and I would say avoid at all costs. If you say delivery at a certain time then it should be at the time stated.I hope the manager sees this or maybe they will be too busy counting the money have 'Earned' squeezing as many customers in as they can. AVOID.

Very average, been to much better Indian takeaways for a similar price

Had the unfortunate pleasure of ordering from this "takeaway" tonight.Rung for an update after the stated delivery time was missed to be told that our food hadn't even started to be cooked and that it would be another 30mins before they would start to cook it.Given a new time for an hour later, after it finally arrived it was missing 4 items.Rung about the missing items to be told another 45mins for those and when it did arrive one of those was wrong aswell. The food was full of grease and the bag it was delivered in was swimming in it, wouldn't trust the staff here to cook me a microwave curry let alone one from fresh.Do yourself a favour and order from anywhere else but here.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!!!!My partner ordered our food from here and after 2 hours of waiting we rang them to be told our address was far away and it would be another 15mins and nearly after a hour again we've tried ringing again to see where our food is and they just keep ending the phone call, absolutely useless service once again don't order from here

My partner likes hot curries which is the only reason to order from here, I do like curry but every one I've tried from here have the same taste, a spice- I'm not sure what it is but I don't like it.The last few times we've ordered I've tried a saag dish- I called them with a query/complaint and was told it was because it had been microwaved! Went in the bin and was offered money off next order... never happened.I've tried the burger- yuk!And this time, the last! I ordered 1 of the 2 wraps on the menu..What can go wrong with a wrap??Well let me tell you....!A 'normal' wrap- a flat bread with a tasty filling.Raj spice wrap- a foul/sweet tasting thick naan bread, with very little contents that tasted of the same curry spice that I dislike :-/ And the chips/fries were absolutely saturated in grease which had a fish shop taste which was very off putting considering I'd not ordered a fish dish. Bin again :-/I'm currently thanking the good lord that the partner wasn't impressed with his curry either, phew! Also, it's utter cheek to charge £1.50 for delivery and not even bring it to the door, we live in a high rise, top floor with a lift. Us having to come down to collect our food is the equivalent of having to walk to the top of the street. We basically met you half way.Don't charge delivery AND expect your customers to collect!

Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered food to be delivered and it came half an hour before the expected time, which was brilliant. The delivery guy was really polite and friendly too. Glad we ordered from here, will be ordering/ visiting again.

Absolutely the best Indian takeaway I've ever ordered and believe me I've ordered many all over the UK including the Curry Mile...Started with the Pickle Tray with 2 popadoms, the lime pickle and chutney sides were very tasty.Following on with the Lamb Tikka starter with fresh salad and marinated onions was a delight with plenty of Lamb in a tasty sauce.I then ordered the Chefs Special Chicken and Beef Cobara as it had 6 chillies next to it on the menu. I like a challenge.I ordered Keema Rice to accompany this and what a combination this was as it was made with pure passion full of flavour with a perfectly cooked rice with truly delicious mince and plenty of it.I'm now savouring all these tastes and had to post this review as the accolades are well deserved. Can't wait to order again, probably day after tomorrow when I've digested this wonderful cuisine. Thanks guys.. Brilliant work 👍
