Ray's Place in Kingston upon Hull

First time visit and most definitely impressed! Meal was delightfully tasty. Can’t wait to come back again.

Absolutely great place, superb place to make a birthday party for small group (10/14 people).Food absolutely delicious, staff really friendly and helpful.Big thanks for hosting us!

I have eaten at rays place since 1984. I have not been for a while because of covid. I went there this evening for a meal. There was a sign outside stating they accept bookings only. How are people supposed to know this if it not on their site? Ray was a friend as were the other staff. I feel sadly let down.

Really dissapointed. Service was rude and didn't feel welcome at all. Hardly any vegetarian options. Food was very poor, didn't seem fresh and portion sizes were really small compared to most Indians we go to. Sadly do not recommend.

Very poor had table booked for 7 people had to all sit separately. Curry - Tikka masala tasted like powder. Waiter was very rude snatched the menus off us. Would never return

This our n family night out restaurant for many years. The new decor has made this so much better. Also new layout. Ray was like family to us all.

Best place to go for a curry in Hull by far. Been coming here for 30 plus years now, the staff have become friends over this time and currently AJ doing a fantastic job, Ray would be so proud of him right now

Great food, great staff, love the place. Raz was our waiter and looked after our vevery need. AJ the chef made sure our meal was just as we like it. I can defo say best curry house in hull.

I've been promising my wife I'd take her to rays place for ages so she finally got fed up and took me. Great friendly atmosphere and great food. We ended up having to take desert home with us for breakfast the following day!

Great food lovely staff cozy place to eat
