went for my birthday - wonderful food drinks & staff! 10/10 can’t wait for my next visit

The fact this is called Caribbean is a joke. Food was absolutely tasteless. There was nothing good about it.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the owner tonight. As I approached tonight to take my 3 son's one of there girlfriend and one of there friend's witch bearing in mind is autistic (and he turned up on his motorcycle). I was some what behind them and the owner was stood out side with his dog. I witness the manager talking down to them as he thought that the motorcycle was pinched !!! Bearing in mind the lad was in his full motorcycle clothing but ran up with my 14yr old son. As I approached he started to tell me this at witch point he started to say to the lad with autism get down the alleyway and then said the same to my 18yr old son. At witch point I had to step in. Then he started to say to us all that he would take us all down the alleyway. To be honest the behaviour of this from a restaurant owner was disgusting all because they ran up with a motorcycle. If this is not judgemental then I don't know what is. This guy literally tried to pick on kids (young adults) as I don't belive he would try that with a few adults. This place needs avoiding at all costs !!!!!!!!

Excellent read some good reviews about it when we went it was better than expected nice quirky place good decor and plenty to look at . It's not the biggest place so it gets busy very quickly definitely need to book if going . The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you quick service not the biggest choice on the menu but foods really good and hot nice portions. Plenty of cocktails to choose from they are even better than the food. There a few big tables so can get a few round them definitely going back

Absolutely amazing food! The flavours and quality is just sublime.I recommend the Zombie cocktail!Service is spot on. We dined outside with our dog and they brought us a bowl and actually seemed happy to be serving people which is a rarity these days.

This has always been a five star for me, but after the last order I would have given it a one star. I order the £50 deal every month which comes with 2x starters 2x mains 2x sides and 4x cocktails. I may give it another try but me and my wife really didn't enjoy the food for once. We ordered the brown chicken stew which is usually beautiful, but this time was very watery. I had the meatball starter which came with no sauce. Every other time it's come with a generous amount of sauce. The meatballs were really dry. The fishcake my wife ordered she said was alright but no where near as good as before.The sweet potato fries arrived cold.The cocktails weren't too bad apart from the fact one of the cups had a split in so we only had half of one of the cocktails.The sides weren't as good as they usually are, plantain fritters and dumplings. The dumplings weren't cooked enough, had a raw texture and the plantain was pretty hard, normally they are super soft.Pretty let down and I really hope it's a one off.

Such a gem! Love everything about this place! Authentic decor, great atmosphere, delicious food, very good drinks and attentive service. A must when you're in Hull! We had jerk shrimp, arawak king shrimp and curry goat and everything was spot on. Highly recommend flaming zombie cocktail 🍹we tried few others and they were all very good. Such a shame we live so far away that would've been our favourite restaurant.
