Proper quality fish and chips! The chips taste somewhat double fried, giving them a delicious taste and a great crunch level. Fish (and patties) are top class. Definitely don't miss the bargain lunch menu!

Visiting from London, thought we would get good fish but Fish & Chip Kitchen exceeded all expectations; top quality haddock beautifully cooked in light crispy batter, dark-fried chips with melting potato inside. Home-made mushy peas also delicious. Best I've had.

Amazing fish and chips, probably one of the best we've had for a while. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, good value. All you ever want. After visiting The Deep this is where you want to have your lunch! 😊

Whilst the restaurant was very welcoming and well presented, as a chip shop you must have decent chips! Sadly we got given what could only be described as Fridays left overs re-heated. They were a soggy greasy disgrace for chips. On the positive the pie was very nice.

This used to be The Fish and Chip Kitchen, and they did do very good fish and chips. However it is now a Greek restaurant (same owner still, he's Greek!) so perhaps go somewhere else for fish and chips now. Will miss fish and chips here but all the best to the new business direction!

My friend's pie was good he says, but the rest of us, party of 8 thought the chips were awful. Greasy beyond compare. Squishy and even with loads of vinegar, I couldn't taste it, too much oil. I don't know what else to say, they should probably stick to pies, or fish and pies...mushy pies were good. What a let down.

Nice fish, but the chips could be better, though: not crispy as they should be. Average price, given the location and the restaurant's trendy atmosphere.

Excellent, fresh fish, battered well and very yummy chips, peas could be slightly less boiled but that's a small thing. Service was excellent. Thank you.

So far I've only had the chips but they make them to my preference on request and they are really good - I haven't found any better since I've lived in hull. Staff are always polite and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Cant understand all the good reviews. Did we catch them on a bad night? The reviews said crispy, chunky chips but light and fluffy. We got a soggy, greasy tasteless mess. Pattie was also a soggy mush inside the batter. Tasted ok though. Peas over salty and a little hard! Maybe needed slightly longer cooking. Worst thing about this experience is the cost at £15. Thats 3 times the cost of the real best chippy in Hull. East Park chippy. Should be called dick turpins. Was expecting something special. Got below average. Avoid 👇
