This business has just been taken over and instead of altering their hours of business on their website (which now includes closing early). They simply didn't do anything about the situation. So about 3 weeks ago I walked to the fish shop (about 1 mile), only to find that they had closed and were busy cleaning up.Asked why they didn't alter the open and closing times the reply was something along the lines of we don't know how to do this and the attitude was, couldn't give a dam !!!!!.I promised to publish this experience and so here is.

fish and chips, decent enough.

Couldn't agree more with the last review. Just ordered nearly twenty quids worth of food tonight and the only part that was any good was the chips. Had several peices of fish and they were all shocking. In each case there was masses of thick dry batter but next to no fish inside and when I say next to nothing I literally mean next to nothing. Won't be back here again. Shame used to be a first class chippy. But that wasn't worth a fiver let alone nearly twenty quid. They best there act together before they lose all their customers

This place has really gone downhill, used to be a right good place but now, the food is shockingly bad. Chips are brown and taste awful and the fish sucked. The place was in chaos and took ages to get food not even the rats would eat.sigh... the place used to be great.

Has been taken over by East park chippee good food just staff need to be a bit better organised like in it's main shop and it would get 5 stars

·

One of the best fish and chip shops. Staff are lovely too. The portions are good and value for money with a good varied menu and spotlessly clean.

·

Actually the worst looking food I’ve ever seen come of a chip shop black bruised chips and mouldy grey patties absolutely vile. DO NOT WASTE your money here... rather eat a pavement pizza 🤢
