What a gem of a restaurant! When w first visited some years ago we thought it was just a cafe. Oh no! It's a wonderful licensed Mediterranean restaurant with a fabulous extensive menu from breakfasts and sandwiches to full three course meals. Never had a bad meal here, and the staff have always been lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.

On entering we were pleased to be offered our choice of available tables. To the right was a busier area with music, and to the left, a calmer area. This suited us and some other groups already chatting quietly. The decor was impressive. More importantly the food was excellent. I enjoyed the Atlantic omelette with rhubarb crumble and custard (which can be over-sweet, but wasn't) to follow. Quite impressed.

The food was delicious. I had a veggie omelette with potato wedges. Great service, nice place.

I had lunch here, the staff were great and the restaurant was nice and alot bigger than I remember. The menu was very comprehensive, with tons of choice. We all ordered baguettes, when they arrived they were warm and the toppings plentiful the portions were huge with chips salad and coleslaw. The coffee was great.Overall as lovely meal in a great location only negative the men's toilet compared with the ladies!

Sincerely not the best restaurant in hullMore like a coffee shop ..trying to sell Italian, Mediterranean, Greek, English..A mix of everything ..Food quality is very very poorNot tasty AT ALL ..look like the chef's change everyday...like the food flavourMassive portions...for such a low quality..Cappuccinos and other cofees, come in Massive cups..the milk ...not even tasting like milk...The staff look unexperienced ...ALL OF THEM ....Some are so rude ....and dont know how to communicate with costumers ....They don't know how to serve drinks ...They bring the cups by hand...and give it us..Disgusting...They want to change the decorations in the premises..But can't even make a simple change inside their management and food quality....Just avoid this place ...It is a waste of money...Some places offer much better than this ...

Worst takeaway In my life desserts somehow got delivered frozen and had a label for 2 days before the meat in the kebabs was dry and and somehow very greasy there was 2 pieces of plastic in our curry, the pasta come cold honestly it was disgusting rather go eat at a hospital because Im probably gonna end up there after this but the tzatziki sauce was good

Lovely setting, staff polite and friendly. Well established business since the 1960"s. Lamb skewer nice. Not far from both theatres.

I’ve always wanted to visit this restaurant but just never have. Until today. I had a spare hour so popped in. Omelettes are one of my favourite dishes and the chef happily agreed to make my preferred omelette - chicken, cheese & chilli. Even though it was made to order, I didn’t have to wait long. It was absolutely delicious and also very large (I was worried it would be too small!). I also had a cappuccino, which was a really generous size and came with a pack of Lotus Biscoff biscuits - who knew they did a Belgian Chocolate version?! Beautiful. On top of all that, the waiting staff were so friendly, attentive and professional. I can’t believe I left it so long to visit but I’ll certainly be back!

So GF options.....ZERO. They have absolutely no idea what GF is let alone about cross contamination. Apparently I could have any of the Grill options....they come with chips 'are the chips gluten free'. Yes. 'oh good, are they fried in a separate fryer?'. They are fried in hot oil. 'but is anything else fried in that hot oil that isn't gluten free?' Yes lots of things. Are the burgers GF. They are not sure. The waitress had to keep returning to the kitchen to ask the chef. No desserts are GF except for Eton Mess and Banana Split. I ended up with a jacket potato and a Mozart Omlette with peas. I had no faith whatsoever in their ability to not cross contaminate. I went with family and their meals were ok, fish and chips, lasagne and pasta arriabata. We won't go back to be honest which is a huge disappointment as we use to go here for lunch a few years ago....it's not the same anymore
