I took my disabled mum her for our evening meal. The vegan options are very limited, but there are some. When we arrived we ordered drinks and asked for the menu. Once we'd decided, we went to order another round of drinks and our meals, only to be told they had closed the kitchen early as they weren't busy!!Very annoying when we'd actually asked for menu's and they were advertised as being open for food.

Nice meal at Priory. Just been re-decorated, and food was ample and in good time. Cannot complain with the burger & chips I got. Would have again.

Alled in for a Sunday roast. It was amazing. Proper mash veg and gravy. I had the chicken and it tasted great. Bar staff very friendly and pub had a great atmosphere. Shaun has made the pub very welcoming, definitely worth a visit

The inside of Priory and the beer gardens was lovely. Table clean and chairs very comfy with flat screen tvs and surround sound. However service was poor and food was even worse. At the time of ordering we was told it was a 45min wait but in total we waited 1hr and 30mins which meant some ate alone. Ordered an 8oz aged rump steak and recieved what looked like a pork steak very aneamic. Also ordered a veggie burger which was the new cauliflower, kale and cheddar cheese one, to be served a quorn burger with a very hard burger bun (microwaved then placed in an oven). I asked to speak to the manager to discuss the poor quality of food but rather than listen he spoke over me and then said he would refund. I think if he had listened he could of relayed it to the kitchen and then improved on it.... Updated to add; found out that a family member who ate here was awoken at 2am this morning with sickness and diarrhoea he had ordered a steak and ale pie but was told they didn't have any and decided to try the mushroom pie with poor consequences.

We stopped here as it was along our route. It was very quiet so the atmosphere was pretty damp, but it is big enough to be able to imagine it packed on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The food and service were both ok, we all went for the burgers as a safe option and that is precisely what they were.
