"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Great pub friendly atmosphere does a great Guinness, does food as well but I'll admit iv not tried it yet but is on my list as iv seen it coming out to other customers and does look and smell good

To much of an effort from who i believe was the manager to make my 80 year old nan a cup of tea he said it was not really worth it as he can pull 6 pints in the time he makes a cupper tea . 1st time and last time visiting the place

Thank you to Vickie, Rob and the rest of the gang who made our New Year's Eve an enjoyable one! This pub has a friendly and fun atmosphere, making us feel very welcome with every visit.

Friendly staff and decent food. I went in for an evening with a couple of family members. We all had steak cooked to our individual tastes. The steak was servered with chips, peas and tomato. Excellent chips

Not an establishment that I would visit often as it's too far away and the occasion for this visit was too celebrate the life of my relative recently deceased. Other than our funeral party not many patrons were in the establishment but the glorious weather meant that many people could be outside. The bar staff, maybe the proprietor, were pleasant and efficient, helpful when they could be. Tables were provided for the food and overall for a sombre occasion it was an enjoyable time to catch up with the remaining relations. The place was clean and tidy throughout, and overall, despite the occasion the afternoon went well. Yes on this visit we enjoyed the place.
