Poor staff attitude and poor service. Ordered a drink to be told that they didn't have a in stock and when asking what else they have no real idea and seemed like I was taking up there time, also new drink was cheaper so had to wait on a manager to say if we could have a refund or now.Food waiting time was over 20 minutes and when asking staff memeber no one come back to us.

Always a solid option. Interior is spacious and never feels as if you have to fight for space during crowded evenings. Go in during the week as they have daily deals which makes for a nice, inexpensive meal for two. Even without the deals, the menu is reasonably priced and the quality is quite good for the price. Shame they haven't had any fish for several months now.As for drinks, the price is alright but can start getting steep when you add in mixers with your spirits. It's better to opt for the premade cocktails and hope that the pitcher isn't filled mostly with ice.

Lovely food & lovely staff. Had a great night at the meatloaf tribute was a brilliant atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome and like nothing was too much to ask. Our food was cooked perfectly with a reasonable wait time as expected. Bar staff were amazing at serving a full pub with minimal queuing. Overall had a great evening and will be visiting again.

Ordering food and drinks via the GreenKings app was very easy to do, although the drinks took 15 minutes to arrive (3 x soft drinks). Food is a little on the expensive side but very tasty. Only gave 3 stars because the toilets were awful; 3 with no locks, 1 with no door and the one I ended up in had the loo roll pushed into the dispenser so you couldn't get it - toilet check on wall was initialled though 10 mins before to show the toilets had been inspected.

Well what can I say about the goose, the members of team are always very attentive to every detail when it comes to providing the best for everyone the food is phenomenal I've had pub food before but bye heck this is the best, but the most important thing about the pub that I've witnessed anyway is the entertainment that is provided always booking in for the tribute acts and especially sport I can see why they are the home of pub Sport would definitely recommend to anyone

Absolutely shocking. Told an hour wait (which could of put people off) to have our food.. (well half of it) within 20 minutes. Ordered food together for it to come out separately (around 15 minutes later) with 2 members on the table nearly finished. Chick and mix chicken strips hard enough to break your teeth on... overcooked and dry.Second lot of food to come out obviously been forgotten about as was cold when brought out. The sizzling plate was even going cold by this point.. No one checked to see if everything okay and part of the order still missing. Had to go to bar to see where it was to be told do you want it? Well obviously.. Drink glasses dirty and high chairs filthy. Management does not support staff on bar when they're obviously still training or struggling to work the till.Overall shocking. Obviously don't want the custom.

Excellent service, especially from Chloe P. She made our whole night. Staff like that makes your whole visit worth while. We'll see you again Chloe P . Very enjoyable food too :)

Not a good experience. Wife & I popped in at 7pm ish Sunday. On first impression it seemed ok, then we saw the mess under tables and on the floor. Chips, napkins and bits of paper everywhere. So got in sat down selected food n drinks and off to the bar I went. There was just 2 behind the bar and around 8 adults trying as well as getting drinks. The problem was it took HALF an hour before I got seen. Ordered food ok then asked how much the gins were to a don't know. So I asked her to look up the price of a double, so a Bombay came in at 5.50. Now next to the till was a board that said choose gin, choose garnish (lime I said) and mixer. Didn't have fever tree light so schweps it was. Turned out she put lime cordial in and it was a cocktail that came in at nearly 8 quid. The food was okish, wife had a med rare rump which was overcooked but tasty. I had the big medium rib eye which was a bit chewy but cooked ok. It came with Mac cheese which was anemic. Not grated cheese grilled on top. Chips were Luke warm and rubbery. One guest beer on tap that was zingy, wife said pipes hadn't been cleaned but too late to do anything about it. Will we be back..... No
