Yinjibar in Kingston upon Hull

Used to visit here regularly for the food more than the atmosphere staff have always been efficient but not over friendly we visited on Saturday night after booking a table found the menu greatly reduced and a lot more expensive £8for prawn toast starter is a bit much food was ok but not a patch on what it used to be

Went out on a date night with my husband and it was amazing. The service was amazing, staff were really friendly. Definitely suggest this place if you're looking for somewhere quiet. It was my first time trying the shrimp and pork dumplings but for first time try, I'll be coming back for sure!

Very nice food. I have king prawn sate and it tasted lovely with plenty of prawns. The food was great value. However the beer was a little expensive in my opinion. Please note they are a Cash only business which is unusual nowadays.

Always good food and lively atmosphere with friendly staff.

Went here on Thursday 27 January. 6 of us for birthday 🎂 . We got a banquet starter followed by our mains prawn curry was spot on as was prawn and ginger spring onions .everyone enjoyed there meal we had drinks 🍸 and found it very reasonable definitely be going again

Always a good choice as eat in or take away. Vast menu of tasty fresh traditional Chinese cuisine. Not the most stylish place but the food and service make up for the decor. Beware it's cash only! But worth every penny.

Amazing service, great food. Not your usual Chinese takeaway food. This is much more authentic and so tasty. Love eating here.

I'm giving this a 5 star to make sure this review comes up. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Ordered for mixed vegetable rice and it was served watery and bland. Ordered for sweet & sour spare ribs and was given something that looks and tastes entirely different and the waiter insisted it was what I had ordered. I have been to a couple of Chinese restaurants here in the UK and their food was amazing, but this one I will definitely NOT recommend. Left without eating a meal I spent 24 pounds on.

Magnificent food! A small and 'out of the way' restaurant that has such a good reputation that other customers have spoken about travelling far to visit here for a meal. Never had any Chinese cooking like it. Large portions but with the best of flavours no matter what you order. 5*
