If you are looking for a cheap meal, and fabulous service, then this is the place to go to. However the quality of the food wasn't very great. The lentil soup was delicious, but the chicken shawarma was under seasoned and one mouthful of it had an antiseptic taste to it, which wasn't very pleasant. The tea was nice.

Had chicken & lamb wrap (£3.50)... Massive wrap (like Caribbean roti) really filling and so tasty! Coming back to get more! 😋😋😋

The service is absolutely rubbish!! They need to put someone with experience in front and know how to make customers feel welcome. Not going back there ever again!

Very friendly staff, always polite and respectful. Cheap prices and good food.

Great dining option if you're looking for an authentic (Arab/Kurdish?) dining experience, they have a variety of soups as a starter (with lentil soup being my personal favourite) and they serve a great range of chicken and lamb dishes that can be ordered with rice and a wide mix of salad or as a shawarma (wrap). In addition they also offer roast chicken and even chips (fries) so it works well if you want to take your children there. The table service itself is quite basic and the decor is not the most exquisite but the friendly and welcoming attitude of the staff always makes up for it, offering you free water at the start of the mean and a nice free cup of tea at the end. Overall a rather simplistic but very enjoyable place to eat; probably the only place in hull where you can get yourself some tasty lentil soup, a delicious chicken shawarma with water and a cup of tea at the end for a price of burger and fries at other places. I have been regularly dining in there for the last 5ish years and will keep coming for more every chance I get. In my opinion it's one of the best bistro-like restaurant where you can get a two course meal that tastes wonderful and gives you that home-cooked feeling all for just around £5

It's a good place for people who looking for lunch. If you are looking for fast and not expensive lunch, it's ok.I went here on dinner time. I have seat front kitchen working place. This time they worked fast, customer often going for order food ( take away ), been really noise. How I told, for lunch it's ok. But if you're want slowly eat, and enjoy dinner with your partner, it's not a good place.By the way, this place not so much Authentic. This place remember me, street food place. But I still recommend this place for people who looking for a good and fast lunch.

I had made a negative comment before about Yum Yum. It was regarding the Falafel Wrap which to me before was not really good in terms of the portion, and one of their staffs was rude and not friendly. But now I changed my mind when having their Lamb Shawarma with rice, without knowing that what I spent for £6.00 was also included two naan breads and 2 packs of lentil soup (you could opt others but I know Kurdish lentil soup is so delicious). The portion was great and their food this time was amazingly delicious!!!! :D Plus, you can pay with card too if you don't have cash in hand :) Plus points here as compared to the nearest restaurant! Double thumbs up and definitely I will repeat my visit :) I had their Chicken Shawarma Wrap before and it was good, but Lamb Shawarma Wrap/Rice was the greatest! :D
