Aldo's Pizzeria in Kirklees

12 of us ate from the Chakkra south Indian menu. Food and service was brilliant. A bit pricier than an average takeaway, but worth it.

Arrived at 6.30pm Sunday evening. Not busy, welcomed and drinks purchased. Food was lovely, but what let it down was it was very cold in the restaurant and had two 70 year olds with us celebrating birthdays.later found out it closed at 9pm. If we'd have known we would have gone earlier.

Food fantastic, staff wonderful, atmosphere really nice. Would recommend you give it a try (suggest you book as was very full even at 6.30pm Sat evening).

Absolutely gorgeous Kerala food served with love and attention from the staff. This place is such a gem. The food is so good, makes a real change from the standard curry house. We had fish curry in coconut sauces with selection of vegetarian and seafood starters. Mystified why it is not rammed with customers. Try it for a real change and proper south Indian curries. 100% recommended 👌

Took my mum for Mother’s Day, can’t speak highly enough about the place. Staff were excellent and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Mum reckons it was best Italian she’s had. Definitely be returning. Thanks guys.

CONFESSION: this is 1 of the mains reasons why you'll find me kicking about in Cleck SO often 😎For me, this place is like a time capsule. Used to make a beeline for it as a kid & I still do today - the food is sensational! Ask me & you'll genuinely struggle to find more authentic Italian cooking, anywhere in West Yorkshire. Plus (a little perk I've found), if you're cheeky & ring them up, they'll even do takeaways for collection, for what is very close to a takeaway price 👀So hard to pick fault this place!! If I had to, I'd say that personally, the decor isn't really to my taste, but really, that's just me being picky. You go here for the food - not to stroke some fancy wallpaper. So (excuse my flippancy, but), who cares?! 🤷🏼‍♂️If you haven't already, give this place a try! In a world of huge chains & corporations (cough) Pizza Express, Prezzo, Ginos etc., little gems like this are rare to come by. Hats off to your chef!We need more independents like this!! 💯

Me and the wife went there for Valentines Day and we very much enjoyed our time there. The food was good and didn't wait long for it to arrive and the all the staff was welcoming and very friendly... it's a place I can say we will be returning to in the sometime in the future.

Absolutely lovely authentic Italian food, just like mama used to make. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with very pleasant staff & most importantly Italian old school chefs from the homeland. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a taste of what Italian food should taste like 👍🏾

Went with some friends and it was the not best, the décor is dated and needs a new look with a clean!Food was something I could of whipped up at home in 15mins myself, I didn't feel like they put any heart and effort into there dishes and the drinks prices was an absolute joke.I think they need to get Gordon Ramsey to come over and sort it as it used to be the best restaurant in town but now has gone down hill. Its such a shame!
