Batley Extra in Kirklees

It always puzzles me why every West Yorkshire town has one or two superb ltalian Restaurants.This restaurant is no exception,fantastic staff always smiling and always ready to help. The food is amazing cooked by the most cheerful chef l have ever met. For wine try the Primitivo ists very good. Wont be long before we are back.

Always absolutely gorgeous authentic Italian food. Me and my family have been going here for our occasions for years! The restaurant is always decorated to a really classy standard, always changing to suit all tastes. The food just gets better and better in my opinion. I’m vegetarian and always have plenty of options, my family have their favourites but are always pleasantly surprised when they try something new. The staff cannot do enough for you and they always have enough staff to help everyone. If you ever had an issue, the management would always correct it and that’s why we love it here so much. Also worth mentioning that the prices are so affordable and they constantly have offers on such as an early bird menu where you can have 2 or 3 courses for such a reasonable price! And it’s all home made so it’s definitely worth it. You have to try the tomato garlic bread when you go!

We've been eating here on and off for years, at the Batley site and previously when it was based in Dewsbury. Food is consistently good, a nice atmosphere and the owners actually are Italian. During Covid we had food delivered and that was good too. Its not cheap but not expensive either, give it a try, you won't be sorry

Went on new years eve, excellent Italian restaurant. Its the second time I have been and apart from the food being very good there is real family feeling about the place and the prices are good too

I texted the restaurant and politely asked if I can order food for my brother in Manchester using my credit card since i'm based in Malaysia for Xmas treat; and they could have just say no and stop there. Instead they accused me of being a scam and my number has been reported to the police? Wow... UK hospitality 👍

Not easy to get in and out due to steps. However once in it is spacious with a reception area to order drinks. The food is OK and the choices go beyond typical Italian. The wine list is limited yet good value.

Friendly staff food was amazing so yummy definitely going back again . Left feeling full and satisfied
