Blue Tiger Honley in Kirklees

Very disappointed. First takeaway visit today and it will probably be the last. Good points are the food was ready on time, friendly staff in the restaurant and the popadums were excellent. Highlight was the seekh kebab starter which was probably amongst the best I have ever tasted.Main course was a bit of a disaster unfortunately - I had chicken taba and had to pour off the ghee which then revealed a very watery sauce underneath. Chicken was chewy and the peshwari naan I had with it was very small and had minimal coconut filling.I doubt I will be back.

Just turned up and had to wait 40 minutes for a table. A lovely member of staff came into the pub for us but the wait was so worth while. The food was was everything and more. I can see myself becoming a regular. Fantastic food.

Got the blue tiger box meal with lamb karahi, chicken tikka starter and chips. I highly recommend not to purchase you get half a curry less than half a portion of chips and the chicken tikka was the whites tikka I’ve ever seen couldn’t taste no tikka at all. You save around £1-1.50 getting the box meal over ordering everything separately it’s not worth it at all.The curries however tasted good I also got lamb dabba tagine which also tasted really good.

Experienced disgusting customer service. Came with a group of 8, for a friend’s birthday ordered food got all starters correct. The mains was all wrong so told staff it was wrong to be told it was us that got it wrong. There was no compromise within the situation. The waiter was totally rude and aggressive. We was told to get out, completely humiliated in a restaurant full of people.I have worked all over the world and I have never experienced such rudeness within staff. I will never step foot in the blue tiger restaurant again and my 7 friends will never return. I will not be recommending this restaurant to friends or family.

Probably the best curry I've ever had. I love the specials that bring different cuisines together - highly recommend the lamb daba tagine. Prices are great too. Amazing food that doesn't cost a lot, what more could you want!?

Ordered a take away at the restaurant for take away for 7 30 pm Told them I would be sat in the adjacent barAt 7 45 asked where it was and it had been with the staff awaiting collectionResult meal was ruined. Absolutely cold. We had to re heat throughout.Not good enough.Steve

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the waiters & waitress got our mains order all wrong to be told it was our fault we ordered wrong, sorry but haven’t the waitresses been trained to take orders properly obviously not, the way they spoke to me & my 7 friends was aggressive & disgusting & then to be told to leave in front of a full restaurant which wasn’t our fault, the customer service is zero I will never come here again & will certainly be telling all my family & friends not to come

Food was amazing the quality of the chicken is what surprised me and rate it so highly, not chewy no fat good amount. I've been served food before in a pan but never the kind of pan you use at home Tefal non stick lol... Staff were very friendly and the building felt more like home than a curry house. Food speaks for itself very tasty, travelled quite far just to sample the food before the next lockdown so you better hurry up too!
