Lovely spot and staff. I went to the new one by the Library.I Normally enjoy my meals. but I had to complain about my bacon because it was totally dried out stuck in my tea cake. I tried to eat it but it was sticking in my throat so after 2 bites I told the waitress, she apologised and went to get me another. She came back and said the cook said it came like that and to choose something else...I told the waitress to tell the cook it shouldn't come like that and not to reheat bacon, cooked earlier that day as its now frazzled after being in the microwave, and if he could kindly do me a simple bacon butty without a side of attitude I'd be grateful. I finally got my bacon butty, but my cuppa had gone cold and i lost my appetite. I'm really disappointed as I've always enjoyed eating here.. I'm now in two minds😕STOP REHEATING BACON IN THE MICROWAVE. IT DRIES IT OUT!!!🤦🏾‍♀️

Called in today for a refreshing ice cold latte and a slice of delicious lemon and blueberry gluten free cake to enjoy sat outside in this beautiful sunshine.Both was delicious was served by Shannon service was amazing nice friendly welcome with a welcoming smile. Good choice of drinks and cakes and was nice to see plenty of vegan and gluten-free choices too. Also had a food menu with also plenty of choices available think next time will have to try something from the menu because everyone’s food looked amazing and so tasty.Very clean establishment with a great atmosphere definitely will be back for more especially that cake it was to die for x

Was in town and searched on Google for GF food. This place came up. Don't think they're that clued up about GF food! I ordered a GF English Breakfast. I actually went through the "can't haves" with the server. My Breakfast came with Black Pudding on the plate... Didn't really get much of an apology, just a re hashed Breakfast. No offers of free coffee , no serious apology. Nothing. Disappointing. The coffee was good though. The whole place was cold as the door was wide open constantly.

Brilliant coffee shop in Huddersfield. Lovely staff and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a great tasting coffee. I passed the afternoon there with a nice cappuccino. Looks like I'll return another day for the breakfast.

Ordered a breakfast with a hash brown instead of tomatoes, I HATE tomatoes. Also ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans. I was told they were out of jackets but if I waited 10 minutes I could have a fresh one. HALF AN HOUR later they give me my food and I rush back to the office (I get 45 minutes for my lunch) open the breakfast and it's got loads of tomatoes mixed in with the beans. Tried picking them out but the taste just sticks to anything they touch. Straight in the bin and no time to get lunch from somewhere else. Extremely slow service and can't get simple orders right. Nah, not worth the prices.

Will never be visiting again, went there Saturday and it seems like management are too busy talking down to their staff rather than providing anyone with any kind of customer service. Not only could they not control their child from crying, it seems like no one could get to the table fast enough since the food was stale and cold. Very disappointed to say the least, I wouldn’t send my worst enemy there for lunch. Had an excellent cup of coffee though, shame.

I've been going to this cafe for years now and this place is a gem. Great food. My mushroom soup was well tasty. The coffee is brilliant and just love the theatre and musical vibe. Service is always cheery and attentive. Wonderful place.

The breakfast was absolutely lovely and hot, and the latte lovely too. The two young ladies serving were very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this cafe 👌

Amazing ! I am not a local, so I just wandered around and found this gem. I didn't know about this new coffee shop in the town center.Great coffee! The full English breakfast is amazing! In combination with the fresh bread and silky egg yolk, one of the best breakfast I ever had. I'll make sure to visit when I come back!

Excellent coffee, speciality teas, cakes wine and beer. Efficient, friendly staff. Quality live jazz music one Sunday afternoon per month.
