Chiquito Restaurant and Bar in Kirklees

Absolutely will never recommend this place to anyone, £150 bill and 4 steaks left as just gristle and over cooked ( asked for medium cooked and they were grey in the middle!) Ended up having to go to a drive through straight after.Drinks were disappointing, they looked nice but tastes terrible, one was suppose to be set alight and the server couldn't light it so just shurruged and said it was suppose to light and he then walked off.Went for this meal as was first time meeting sons new partner and decided a nice meal and evening out would be nice,wish we didn't go as the meal was such a disappointment.

Went with my family for my birthday. The service was fantastic, everyone really enjoyed their meal. The kids menu had baby food which was fantastic for our 7 month old.We also got free dessert for my birthday.

Went here last week as a family as they now have a gluten free menu. Food was delicious, although the portion size of the sweet potato wedges was pretty small. The brownie was amazing. It was extremely busy as Frankie & Benny's was shut so the service was a bit slow but still reasonable. Will definitely return.

Excellent meal with a friend today, food was gorgeous and we can't wait to return. Make waiter was very attentive and good laugh. Queried why we'd left the sweet potato wedged to try improve product and knocked off bill. All in all ace

Had the lunchtime special, three courses for £11.50 really surprised with the portion sizes, I expected them to be much smaller versions of the main menu boy was I wrong. I will stick to two courses next time. Over all very pleased with both the food and service.

A great family friendly Mexican chain. We love the food here and the service is very friendly. Price wise the portions are decent and we find the menu has a good range of options.We are hopeful they will add more meat free options, as some of the chicken dishes - for example - look excellent, but as vegetarians we won't eat them; hopefully they will catch up and start offering plant based meat alternatives.We always enjoy visiting here and look forward to returning!

Excellent service. Ordered from Uber Eats. Great food and the meal deal is a good value for money for 2 people ordering. There's a nice variety of meals on the menu too. Highly recommended

Average food at an expensive price.The halloumi cheese was over cooked and extremely salty, it didn’t really add much to the burger.The burger buns were dry.As above, it wasn’t bad but expected a bit more.

Welcoming & friendly staff.As it was late, and with all new normal rules, we were worried, we wouldn't be able to get in.But, surprise - we were welcomed with heart warming smile.Seated pretty much straight as we got in, food was served quick and we enjoyed our visit.The food on my plate definitely intrigued, some one who was sat in next table to ours. So, if you haven't already tried - chimichangas are definitely worth trying.Happy Eating.. :)
