Great restaurant / takeaway but has sadly now been closed seemingly permanently for about a year

BEEN PASSED TONIGHT AND THIS PLACE SEEMS TO BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!!Sorry to say I won't be going again. I don't know what's happened,different chef or what but the food is nowhere near as good as it used to be nowhere near at all and it's a shame. 2 beers,starter and 2 Curry's £30 expensive. I have found a small takeaway 5 mins away and it's a lot cheaper and the food is fantastic. I hope they can serve the quality of food they used to serve bit until I will not be going back. So an update today Nov 19th 2019 we called again tonight to see if it was as bad as last time and I have to say, WOW a lot better still expensive but the food was so much better, nice and hot, heat wise and full of flavour I hope it stays this way because this is how it used to be, very happy tonight, really enjoyed it. I ACTUALLY THINK THIS PLACE MIGHT BE CLOSED DUE TO ALL THE WEEDS OUTSIDE AND THE LACK OF CARE, GIVE THEM A CALL.

Ordered a takeaway. One of the best we have ever had. Ready for collection when stated. Was lovely and hot. Excellent service and lovely staff. Thank you.

I am very sorry to say after taking 1 hour and 50 mins for food to be delivered it really wasn't worth it. We had to reheat most of the items and the rice really wasn't very nice. Not that I have tasted washing up water but it could taste like that.Our last meal was fantastic, we were so looking forward to it.Only reason I have scored 1 star is because you have to give one to post.Really sorry I have to write a post like this. Here's hoping they get back to better standards soon.

Absolutely great experience at this restaurant yesterday. Despite the fact that the staff were very busy, they stopped to chat and so gave the customer that personal touch. The lady behind the bar was really friendly. Truly special food cooked to perfection. My son is only ten and he was made very welcome and well catered for. Good house wine and great beer on draft. I would recommend the Handi and the Parsi. Thank you so much.

I'm rating our experience tonight for a takeaway.Cinnamon Lounge was previously one of our favourite restaurants, not - anymore.Since moving to the takeaway format, the service has been terrible.We have been very patient but getting our food delivered almost 90 mins late after the suggested time on Just Eat means its not worth it.The last few of our deliveries have fallen way below the standard we have come to expect toolbars? lways something (or somethings missing).Not at all what we have come to expect from what was previously one of Hidsersfields best Indian restaurants..........Being busy is not an excuse? There are plenty of others who have managed to offer a comparable experience via Takeaway.Sad to say this will be our last time with Cinnamon Lounge

Takeaway was absolutely beautiful. We had Chicken la jawab and a chicken Pathia, with mushroom pilau and well done onion bhajis. Delivered within 30 minutes, red hot and very large portions. Definitely be ordering again. Cheers 👍🏻

We have always enjoyed coming to your restaurant and we ordered take away last night from you but was a huge disappointment. I know time’s are difficult but it took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Both our curries tasted like tomato soup. Rogan Josh and Bhuna they were meant to be. Ordered and paid for 2 garlic naans and we got plain. We chose your takeaway as we know the food is usually great in the restaurant.Tried reaching out to them on Facebook and I had my comments deleted. With that attitude I won’t be returning.

Very nice restaurant serving amazing food. We went for Valentine's Day and were seated promptly on arrival. Food was quick to arrive and extremely good value for money. Wife was presented with a red rose by a member of staff as we were leaving.Only thing that lets it down is that the interior is looking a little dated, and could do with a spruce up; even if just a new coat of paint on the walls.Definitely recoemmend this place though.

We go every year around Christmas/New Year. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is really good - they do a beautiful Fish Masala. Three courses and some sundries and drinks (mostly soft drinks) generally works out around £27 per head. They do not rush you so it is a really nice evening out
