"we are a small family run tea room on our working dairy farm. We serve a wide variety of home made cakes and all our food is prepared freshly when ordered. We also make our own real dairy ice cream with milk from our herd of pedigree Meusse Rhine Issel Cows, and several deliciouls flavours are always available either by the scoop or in take home tubs."

Great ice-cream and friendly staff. They'll allow you to taste the flavours before you decide which is nice and the outside seating in the garden is lovely. You can view the cows being milked in a viewing gallery too if you'd like. This is the best ice-cream place around.

Fantastic food and ice cream, very good value for money. It's always a lovely experience here!

·

Great ice cream, best to come on a sunny day when the garden is open. Dog friendly

Both me and Dad ordered the Crab cakes. They were really poor. A bright orange, fish flavoured paste in bright orange breadcrumbs. Not what we were expecting. We couldn't eat them. When the waitress asked how they were and we said they weren't very nice, she said "well, you'll know not to have them again". Sad really, as we used to enjoy coming to Dearne lea tea rooms. Mum and Dad really liked the place. It'll be a long time, if ever, we go again.

First time here with my partner and our little girl and unfortunately it was a waste of money. The staff was lovely but forgot a knifes and forks. The coffees was nothing special also which is frustrating as its £2:50 for a latte which was just a milky coffee wasn't frothy. And a cappuccino which was the same. Then the food was disappointing £7:50 for a breakfast considered large was far from the truth. For that price you would be expected to get a big potion. We have paid less for a breakfast but got more. And lastly the ham sandwich we got £6:50!!!? For what looked the size of a kids sandwich. Then £3:50 on a potion of chips!?Sorry but lovely staff but we won't be coming again.

Just adding to the response of Jade Winpennys review as I'm her fiance and for some reason does not let us respond.Everything that we said was 100-percent true chips was not homemade they were Sharp like fish and chip shop chips.and regards to the sandwich we received bread not teacake. The full English breakfast I didn't get a tomato's the sausage was burnt, small and looked cheap there was no mushrooms, no black pudding for paying £7 odd you should expect more! So I'm sorry for you to say that this is your most popular choice on the menu it's laughable! We have gone to other places paid less and got so much more! The coffees were god awful even forgot our knife and forks. And quite frankly the response you have given is disappointing.Instead of making things up why don't you listen to your customers new or old and make changes to make the visit the best they have had and that way people will come back.

Visited with family for lunch, great value, home cooked food, served hot, by friendly staff. After a pause, finished off with yes it had to be, ice cream, not disappointed spot on. We'll be back soon.....

Lovely little place, it's always a must for every school holiday treat and when we have friends and family gatherings.Highley recommended and they don't scrimp on the ice-cream.Lovely helpful staff.A big hit for our littlies because you can visit the calfs. Pre covid you could watch the cows being milked too.
