Dunelm in Kirklees

Not a bad place but bedding has got to be quite expensive, £43 for a fitted sheet and two pillow cases. It's a while since I bought some but I don't remember it being that expensive.Quality ok but I was shocked to see they were produced in China !!!!

I’ve just been in the Huddersfield storeI’ve had an appalling customer experienceI wanted to purchase 2m of 2 inch braid from haberdasheryI couldn’t find an assistantSo I took all my purchases to the counterAt the counter was a pleasant young lady and two other women one with a walk-in talkie and one struggling to use a printerI struggle with mobility so the counter assistant explained staff shortage and offered me a wheel chair as opposed to standing that was after a ten minute waitI waited a further 10 minutes. The two women assistants once they’d finished talking walked away though one did ask me what I wantedI explained and she said ‘oh’5 minutes later the counter girl said the fabric sales was now availableAt which point I declined to walk through the store again to the table. To have it cutI felt that with the long wait they could’ve collected the braid and cut it for meSo I just purchased some other sewing accessories and left the braidI’m appalled at the serviceYea they may be short if staffIt the staff available didn’t want to serve me they were too interested in chatting with each otherI’m grumpy about the service received - wouldn’t you be ?

Recently received a parking fine for visiting the Huddersfield Store where we had lunch in the Cafe and I bought various bits. Never went anywhere else. Visited January, received the notice May. Not good.

Reasonably priced. It's nice to buy when you can see and feel the product instead of buying over the internet when you aren't quite sure of the quality of the product you are buying.Nice cafe too, where you can refresh yourselves.

Nice store though alittle pricey on the bedlinen. Good assortment of kitchen goods and accessories at a reasonable price though. Friendly staff with good attitude.

Very disappointed with Huddersfield Dunelm I havnt been for a while very untidy everywhere felt like it needed a good clean the shelves needed tidying, I didnt feel any incentive to buy anything.The cafe also was a disappointment only one person working no choice of cakes the fridge was blitzed and nobody had bothered to fill them up, we had to wipe our own table down with the hand gel provided for hands??

Good range of products, clean tidy, easy layout of store, cafe on the second level, toilets situated in there too, plenty of seating, but could fill up quick!

Big store but not too many staff members around for assistance. We were looking for some new brushed cotton winter bedding but they had very low amounts of stock available. It was almost impossible to find matching fitted sheets and flat sheets. We got what we went for but we had to compromise on our colour choices. Pricing was reasonable and other sections of the store seemed fairly well stocked. I'd say the winter weather has caused many people to buy warmer bedding and this is why choice was extremely limited, cos normally in Dunelm you can usually find exactly what you're looking for. I gave 4 stars for lack of staffing levels and obviously the low stock levels of winter bedding.

The textiles that you can cut to make your own curtains etc seems to have been affected and there is not the choice there use to be.There are still plenty of ready made curtains to choose from.Thete is a nice coffee shop on the first floor with public 🚻.

Good range of products but Insufficient staff at tills, only 2 staff serving customers. No staff shortage saw plenty in other areas. Need to sort out their priorities. Won't go again anytime soon.
