Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar in Kirklees

I was surprised vat how FE healthy options there were. Even the veggie/ vegan dishes were very high in calories. Lovely staff - smiley, attentive and helpful. The food served went down a treat. A great 10 th Birthday celebration.

Lovely food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere

Visited on 10th Feb 2022, been a couple of years since I last visited a F&B's, first time I've been to this one in Batley. Garlic bread was for starter, was OK, main was meatballs and spaghetti, standards have dropped massively, always remember this specific dish being absolutely delicious... Not anymore, tasted like something straight out of a microwavable dinner! Had cookie dough with ice-cream for dessert - this however was very nice. Daughters food was good according to her.

Really nice staff, can't fault the food, particularly the puddings. Decent vegan choices.

Lovely friendly restaurant. Cant beat their BBQ chicken! Not badly priced at average £15 per main £6 starters and desserts but food is always tasty, well cooked and good quality. Good service all round and have Dr Pepper Zero on tap 👍

Nearly cold cappuccino, ABC salad with no A for avocado. Presentation on all our meals lacking a lot! Minimal salad leaves on salad. Fries undercooked. The waitress was really good but otherwise poor experience. Frankie's used to be such a welcoming place with really good food and atmosphere but at this rate I can't see them lasting long. Will go elsewhere from now on.

Run down restaurant, a wobbly table with tissues and menus shoved under the legs to try and stop the wobble yet it still wobbled. Omg just fix it properly or buy a new table!Dirty, old tarnished cutlery (this was provided with my latte, see attached picture).Ripped, stained seating (the padded seats)With the prices you charge you'd expect them to spend a bit on investment and repairs because it's not going on the food. The place looks pretty dilapidated. In regards to pricing, for what it is, location and chain its pricey. Yes 10 quid might not be a lot for a burger and chips but this was nothing special especially when you can't even cook chips with 50% of them being on the verge of raw (and no it wasnt busy, so you can use that excuse). The food itself (baring the chips) did taste fine, and my daughter liked her Pizza, it just wasn't value for money.All in all, I only went because my daughter wanted yo go, I definitely wouldn't go again by my own choice, I'd rather goto a proper restaurant and pay the same prices if not a tad cheaper for better quality.

The restaurant is lovely however the food was disappointing, our starters were good, calamari and a tear and share bread. The mains carbonara rigatoni, the pasta was dry and the sauce was like water and the lemon and pepper salmon with risotto, the salmon was beautiful but was let down by the crunchy risotto, we had the same at the Bradford branch before it closed and it was amazing.

Went for a meal at the Birstall Frankie’s after a long day out and the service was exceptional.Both drinks and food arrived promptly and were tasty & filling.Special mention to Abbey who was ‘on point’ throughout, welcoming and attentive (without being intrusive).Looking forward to another visit in the near future.

Very nice food and drink served promptly. Staff sre very friendly and helpful. Nice surroundings that were clean and hand sanitizers in place.
