Service is always super helpful and kind AND the food is always great.

Food is amazing and love the place, never seems to be open though, wish they had a firm publicised timetable. Update- timetables even worse. Opens and shut when it wants without letting customers know, no number to ring them in advance. Good job food is really really nice.

Lovely little pub. The food here is fantastic and reasonably priced. Called in here a few times and was served quickly with no issues. Car park is a little small but they also have a huge beer garden and a smoking hut outside. Will definitely be visiting again

Waited over an hour for our food to come and the kids were so bored of waiting, they were very hunger and super fidgety. The kids wanted pudding but we didnt get it incase it took too long. The burgers were very nice but the chips were over salty. One of our meals was served 5/10 mins after everyone else too

Looking for a nice takeout which would be different from the usual Maxi’s Denby Dale and within the local area. Really nice food, the service was quick and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable whilst we waited. Definitely eating in next time.

Small cosy pub serving food and Drink. Food much like a average take away burger joint. Prices are cheap enough. Service was good. Would go back again but only for casual food and drink.

Ordered meal everyone's order was brought out but mine which they forgot to make and was told it wouldn't be long then staff returned and said they'd run out of burgers so had to sit and watch everyone else eat. Then waitresses were more bothered about turning up music which the speaker was next to our table and try impress a group of 3 men than fixing their mistake.

We visited the old George and dragon with our grandchildren who are 2 and 4. The food was mainly chicken or burgers which suited our situation perfectly. The children enjoyed chicken strips and the adults enjoyed the variety of generously portioned burgers. The food was of good quality. Staff were lovely with the children and didn't panic when a blue slush puppy was spilt. The whole group ate well and we really got good value for money.

Food was really good and so was the beer. The poor young lad serving was running about like mad tho, had to wait a bit for our first drink. If the owners are reading, this is a really really good place but please have a permanent person behind the bar. It's advertised as a craft beer establishment, but if you walk in for a drink and no one is there to serve you won't stay.Good but could be great.

Very reasonable prices with very generous portions of delicious food. Went for the first time today and would highly recommend the gourmet burgers. Definitely worth the journey. The staff where also surprisingly friendly and had amazing service to day they had to work a bank holiday!Kudos to the two blonde girls and the chef for their services, one of them even helped me find Wally on the google maps game! Thanks for a great meal!
