This is such a gem of a local deli and just gets better & better each month. Friendly staff, a good range of excellent artisan breads,pastries, top quality cheeses, estate bottled wines, gins and rums. All this and & make an excellent New York Deli sandwich too. Soon to open a cosy sitting area upstairs - this brilliant little independent shop deserves all the local love you can give it ♥️UPDATE June 2021 - Ginger Whale now has a cosy sitting area upstairs so you can eat in. Lovely friendly atmosphere, lovely menu and excellent food. They also do afternoon teas , picnic platters etc.

We has lunch here... The food is absolutely beautiful.. so tasty and such lovely staff. Also a lovely gift shop to browse after! 5 stars... Would definitely recommend

On my bike riding some of the trails around Gomersal I just happened to pass this fabulous coffee shop and just had to call off. A brilliant cappuccino was created by the girl behind the counter and some carrot cake consumed. Excellent looking forward to a return visit.

A lovely little gem of a shop, me and the Mrs popped in today for some peonies (priced at £12) and ended up spending £52!!! There are just so many lovely goodies we wanted to try. The mushroom pate is well recommended and I will be popping back for the duck and chicken pate very soon, I hope its just as good. Great service and friendly staff make for a very welcoming visit, (the first of many I think).

What a nice shop. Good selection of non-regular gins and mixers. Other spirits and beers available too. Friendly helpful staff also look after a small deli and make fresh coffee and other drinks too.

Lovely afternoon tea with quite different sandwiches than your usual.afternoon tea. Very nice coffee and a great selection of gins to sample and buy.

Went to buy miniature gin selection for presents . Excellent selection and great service. Really pleased with my gifts
