Really friendly staff and nice food

This is a part of the Cedar Court Hotel in Huddersfield so it has the general corporate feel of this hotel chain. To really enjoy the grill, get there for the evening meal so you get a sense of tranquility away from the motorway. It is definitely better than the services atmosphere you get on the M1 and other motorways. The furniture is low sofa type dare I say faux leather but comfy enough to enjoy a cup of tea but you can also sit at table for a proper meal of medium rare steak.

Not the best Sunday lunch experience. Not helped by cold plates for both the soup and the carvery course. They were generous with the meat but a poor selection of vegetables.

Very bad brunch. !!I had hot beef and onion sandwich. !! Terrible.

Nice fish and lovely breakfasts

Dry chicken no sauces 🤮

Went on a meerkat 2 for 1 we got classic burger and half rack of ribs for main with s side portion of onion rings. The food was lovely on the mains we did ask them to do the onion rings slightly longer but we like them crispy. The only complaint was by my niece that there was only a small amount of chips but we got one meal free so didn’t complain. I had ribs and they fell off the bone and my niece had burger said was really nice. We then both had Eton mess for pudding was really nice different to how I’ve had it before but very tasty.

Poor quality of food for the price paid, watery curry and dry chicken, the best part of the meal being the rice and the mango chuckney. Would not recomend.
