Grill City in Kirklees

Nice place actually. The curries were banging. We came and booked a table for 18 for iftar and ordered ahead. The owner came and made sure we were okay and offered complimentary tea which we kindly declined but it was a nice gesture. Would recommend.

Food was actually decent, would have gave full 5 stars, but the service was terrible. The waiters/waitresses running around like headless chickens, and don't have a clue what they doing. This little kid was taking our order and when food arrived after quiet a wait there was food missing. Overall its a shame the front staff let the establishment down. Won't be returning or recommending

The staff members are really welcoming,nice and respectful. The dine in and the whole service experience was excellent. The freshly prepared food was delicious and was spot on and I will be going back again. I totally will recommend friends and families to visit this place. The atmosphere is suitable for everyone.

Food was quality, good service and really good prices. Will definitely be returning & reccomending.

Great tasting food can't wait to go again

The food is very nice.. really good actually. But the place is freezing cold there is no heating or hot water in the place. The rest rooms were incredibly filthy. I couldn't even stand to look at it whilst my 5 year old needed to go. The place really needs a clean and some heating. Food wise.. its 5/5.

Ordered a thava grill and curry for 4 . It arrived without the curry so we ended up going to the place get the curry . disappointed with the meal if the curries are supposed to be for 4 people then that's not enough the portions of the curries are far too small.I've ordered few times from here and relaised that the flavour of the food is inconsistent each time . It's more of a hit and miss. Definitely not value for money this was supposed to be a birthday meal definitely not trying again.

We got the Tawa for 2. The food had decent flavour with various items on the tawa such as starters and mains. We really enjoyed it from start to finish. The only issue, the staff seem to forget the people sitting in back of restaurant only popped around now and then. As we needed extra naan and napkins.

First visit, tried the tawa - was delicious! Only slight criticism- the chicken dish was a bit on the mild/sweet side, please spice that up a little , the rest were perfect. Service was great too. Please include chips in you tawa dish!

Ordered Chicken balti and Lamb tikka with chips earlier this week.The chicken and lamb tikka were delightful. Food arrived hot and fresh.I have just two minor issues. The chicken portion size wasn't fantastic. It was packaged in a small tin foil container though I must admit the meat to sauce/tarka ratio was higher than most places I've ordered from in the past.The lamb tikka, this is not an issue that's exclusive to just grill city but pretty much every Asian owned takeaway/restaurant in Bradford was that it was slightly overdone. Just a little less time would keep the meat from drying out so much
