Gringos in Kirklees

The decor is amazing! The service, even better. All the guys where extremely polite and friendly. The food was delicious, all cooked perfectly and flavoured just right. The portion size is spot on, we left feeling extremely full and satisfied. You get what you pay for, and you can't say that for most places! Would recommend to anyone 👍🏼

I really recommend a visit to Gringos. The fajitas are delicious and there's plenty. Nice quirky restaurant with a great choice of drinks. The custard cream cheesecake was a great treat for dessert too!

Really nice evening meal with colleagues. Loved the atmosphere and staff were attentive and friendly. Food was fabulous. A cut above normal Mexican themed bars / restaurants. Sharing platter beat us in end... Great if you and a friend are famished.

Staff are grate and knowledgeable, friendly and helpfulthe menu and drinks are delicious I recommend the swine frys, and a realise the craken 😄The price is just right, and the portions will NOY leave you hungry,As for the taste, well if its succulent moist meat, with some of the best chips and just the right amount of spice your after then you need to go .I keep going back I my GF and daughter love this place,And can't wait for my next meal from thereIts clean invitating and has a very unique decorative look.My only little gripe is the music can be too loud sometimes but a few drinks and just start singing along🤣

came with a large group today, everything was fine the food was really nice I’d say the only problem was unfortunately a rude member of staff, one of the group had ordered 2 cocktails which they somehow mixed up and he only got one to which she said he couldn’t get his other cocktail because people were taking drinks that weren’t theirs, I assume they mixed it up and didn’t include the drink ordered outside of the 2 for £10 cocktails (2 were ordered with the deal and another on its own) and then upon leaving she seated 2 ladies at a table next to where ours had been to which I heard her say “don’t worry they’re leaving now” about our group which were not in any way causing any problems within the restaurant. Other than that it was nice. Just a shame it was ruined by one member of staff who just seemed to have an attitude the entire time.

We went to gringos for my sons birthday and it was absolutely lovely! The ribs are so meaty and fall off the bone. The staff were brilliant, they knew my son had allergies and had checked everything before we arrived. We had some churros to go and they were delicious! We will definitely be back!

This place was great. The Mexican food was a lovely change, the decor in the restaurant was amazing, day of the dead, but the best thing was the staff. Garcia and Max were very attentive and most amusing. We had a wonderful meal and lots of laughs.

Unfortunately my husband got food quite bad poisoning from this place when we went 2 weeks ago he had the 2022 meat special burger was not cooked fully as it was very pink. They venue have avoided any contact since. The stars are for the drinks and my meal which were great. The service was good but slow when we arrived. Would not rush back.

My only complaint is that the portions are way too big. Food and service was fantastic

Lovely vibe with amazing artwork on the walls. However the true masterpiece is on the plate. Huge flavours and portions that truly deliver full satisfaction and more with the incredible value for money on food & drinks.
