High park in Kirklees

1st visit, the food was lovely and hot. Well presented and value for money. The service was a little slow but we weren't put off visiting again. £65 for 4 adult mains, 4 pints of diet coke and one giant brownie sundae!

Not to bad. The sharing chicken platter was awesome. I had the steak and ribs which I wasn't keen on. the Steak was very very fatty and well done (I asked for medium)

Big call out for Abbie & Maizy - amazing service when we visited as a family. Nothing was too much trouble. The chocolate brownie is delicious and well worth saving some room for. Thank you to Steve and rest of the team.

Brilliant. Wheelchair accessible which will be great for me in the future (I used crutches on this occasion which is a struggle, but I was unsure on how accessible it would be).The Steak and Chicken Fajitas that I had were amazing, although I do wish there was a little more cheese.They even have Dr Pepper Zero available!Unfortunately there was not many staff that night, but the staff were very polite and kind and the food arrived super quickly once ordered (around 10-15mins) which is always a bonus! We will be coming back, and will add a booking note to not be seated near a large party as they were standing around the steps to the area where we were seated, making it less accessible, and they were disturbing everyone by almost shouting at eachother.

Lovely pub, great service especially Danielle who was serving us today, food was great I had the gammon and was beautifully cooked. Highly recommend this place

We decided to go here on Saturday as we had family who had come to see us and we have always liked it here. There is plenty of parking, the pub and restaurant are warm, clean and cosy and there is the free fabulous play gym. The staff were amazing, they could not do enough for us and were so friendly and very professional. The food and drinks were great and we had a fantastic afternoon. They even seated us in seats which had a small TV so the our 2 year old niece could watch TV. We will certainly be back. Thank you to all the great staff for making our afternoon so good. A massive thank you especially to our waiter, as he was brilliant!

Went for Christmas lunch and it was diabolical. Got served the wrong starter, the lunch itself was sloppy, over cooked. It did not have sausage meat stuffing, dauphinois potatoes, just wet mash, soggy sprouts and boiled veg. The Yorkshire pudding was wet and chewy. I would’ve expected a far greater quality meal, it was dreadful. People outside were complaining. The service was terrible, waitress didn’t clear our table. Very very bad. The response was as bad as the experience!!

Visiting here is always a complete please. Not a bad word to say, the atmosphere is great, the food incredible & service is some of the best we’ve ever had. It’s our new favourite place to eat & cannot wait to return! Our food in the pics, festive burger, festive pie & mixed grill, we’ve tried lots of food and also recommend the seafood mixed grill & the roast dinners. Our server this evening was Abbey & she was exceptional

Four of us had roast turkey festive dinner. Part way through we realised none of us had any roast potatoes. We asked our lovely waitress if we were meant tohave potatoes. The chef was sure he had put them on. But we were advised we would have 20 percent reduced off our bill. Which was a lovely gesture. The food was lovely. Deserts were delicious. Would recommend.

Had a great night in here after they took a last minute table for 6 booking to celebrate my Sons Birthday due to walking out of the Old Mill at Cooper Bridge. We ended up sending all our meals back that were stone cold when delivered (amongst other things) and was left waiting 20 minutes each drink round. Every Customer in the Old Mill was complaining, but the Evening was saved by the Fantastic atmosphere and Service at the High Park.There was a brilliant Live act on that had everybody singing (Friday 3rd December).Can't recommend High Park enough. 100% on everything 🙂💯
