Hollowgate Fisheries Ltd in Kirklees

We called in here on Tuesday teatime for fish and chips and hand on heart I can honestly say, they were the best we have ever had. The cod was cooked to perfection and the chips were golden brown like they should be (not pasty white) and very tasty. Keep it up.

Lovely fishn chips. And now Ice-cream parlour next door.

Great little shop - Made better by being open on a Sunday! Just what was needed after a 70 mile bike ride, descending from The Moss in freezing cold and needing some hot/fast food to warm up - . Thanks for taking the butter out of the teacake for me - 😁.

My 1st ever visit to Holmfirth & this chip shop .Found the staff service to be very pleasant when ordering. Had regular Cod & Chips with mushy peas ,Very good size fish with plenty of chips which were delicious, bit strange having the peas served on top of the fish but this didn't distract from this wonderful takeaway meal !

I have stopped here for many years when passing through. Today we made a special journey of 30 miles just for lunch.. I think that speaks for itself...
