Afternoon tea, vineyard tour and wine tasting was a fabulous birthday gift. The food was amazing as was the tour guide. Definitely would advise this as a birthday gift from BUYAGIFT.COM.

Had an overnight stay with vineyard tour and evening meal. Fabulous. Our apartment was brilliant, everything you needed for a short stay, clean and comfortable. The tour was fascinating, great information about how wine is made and some tasters at the end. Evening meal was excellent, the menu a little different from the norm. Highly recommend the whole experience. Make sure you bring a warm coat and flat shoes for the tour, can get a bit windy, and not a long walk from accommodation, but a VERY steep one. Though a taxi is available to take you up and down at a minimal cost

Went for a tour and lunch. Tour was a but cold a wet, but learned quite a bit. Stayed for lunch. The crayfish and prawn salad was very nice, could have gone a hunk of bread. Partner had the butternut squash soup which was very nice. We both had the beef bourguignon. The meat gravy and vegetables were very nice. There was a decent portion of mash, however it was a bit lumpy and lacked taste and seasoning.

A beautiful venue situated in the middle of nowhere with amazing views. Everything was organised like clockwork at the wedding we attended. The violinist and dj are married and both very good. The bedrooms are round a bad bend down the road, 2 free taxis to transport you.

Vineyard was small but nice, the tour was informative and funny, but a little short as the grounds are quite small. The restaurant is 5 stars , meals and staff are great.Accommodation is 2 stars, it looks great on the webpage, it is furnished with low end furniture which would be fine around a home but not robust enough for accommodation. The main source of heat is a log burning stove, very nice if they provided enough logs ( this is Yorkshire in February), you can buy extra but who pays for heating in a hotel??.Overall I would recommend the vineyard, but not the accommodation.

Had afternoon tea for 2 for my 60th birthday yesterday and a vineyard tour. Excellent food and friendly, helpful staff, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun. Will be visiting again in the summer.

Been a few times and loved it. Beautiful accommodation and lovely food and views. Only thing I wouldn't recommend is the afternoon tea, one of the worst I've had and staff laughed when I informed them I didn't enjoy. Hopefully a one off 🤞

Nice place with lovely views. Country roads to get to it with blind corners, cyclist and walkers so be weary. Stopped by here for an afternoon tea. The sandwiches were nice but didn't have very generous fillings and the deserts were okay. Everything was well presented though. I had a cappuccino but it wasn't too great. The espresso was over extracted and a little watery. Most of the staff were nice but some seemed a little busy to be polite. The atmosphere was nice with plenty of people around that had tours around the vineyard. The people on the tour said they had enjoyed it. They were also accommodating for a wedding at the time. I would still recommend this place to visit and give a try.

Wonderful idea to have accommodation in a vineyard and from the initial wow when we entered our apartment, it soon changed. Lots of redecoration and maintenance required and beds that were so creaky that 2 of our party slept on the floor. A lack of a frying pan to cook breakfast and a cork screw! The experience with the wine tasting was good and a 2 night getaway with your mates, you're always going yo have a good time , but it could have been lots better accommodation.

Recently visited this excellent eating establishment with views of the vineyards and surrounding hills which are breathtaking. We came when it was raining and the hill mist and clouds were exceptionally low but I imagine when the sun is out it is even better. A short walk from the car park to the entrance, where you are met by the staff who look after you while you are there. There is a choice of hot and cold sandwiches and meals and an afternoon tea which we had. Very clean and tidy with friendly staff and the views from the conservatory are mind blowing. Excellent table service with comfy seats and a relaxing area with little settees to have a drink before or after your meal. You can also have a tour of the vineyard and a wine tasting at the end if you wish. Accommodation is available at bottom of the hill looking out onto the lovely countryside. Some tight twisting bends and curves on the way up to the restaurant but ad to the experience on your arrival. Would definitely visit again, just to see the views in summer or spring with the sun out.
