AVOID AVOID AVOID - Quality has dropped compared to how it was well known & boasted about years ago. Ordered 2 Tawa's & food quality of them was horrendous - starters all dry or burnt ,curries both bland, donner was like eating cardboard, seekh kebab was only nice item, salad looked like it had been sat on the table overnight & chips was extra but soggy.(don't be fooled by the pictures) Service was shocking, Was placed upstairs in a very tight overbooked bedroom. prebooked a table of 10 to be put on a table fit for 8 waiter responded with during ramadhan we have to fit everyone in!' . Disappointed i didnt read other reviews as 'newest' reviews all state the same.

Food was absolutely terrible. Father in law had a booked a table for 7 last night. We were seated upstairs which the room was freezing! We ordered two Large Tawas with drinks. We’re all now suffering with food poisoning with one family member now in hospital. Absolutely disgraceful, avoid this place at all costs!!!

The Kabana make the best chapatis I have ever had. The food is always good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really pleasant. The greeting staff are always welcoming. Some of the waiting staff can be a little rushed.

We went here on a whim one evening. After ordering food, sundries and drinks, my wife asked for a glass of tap water. We were shocked to be refused and were guided to their bottled water. When we explained that she cannot drink bottled water as it makes her unwell and that she needed a drink of water, they still would not provide a glass of tap water. Their explanation was simply that the owner did not want to provide it.This is the only restaurant we have visited that has refused tap water. We decided not to stay and so can't comment on the food, but they lost business tonight for the loss of one glass of water.

Absolutely terrible service! We booked a table and instead of offering us the table that was free, they said no we are going to move the people already eating onto that table. It was the stupidist thing I've seen. And we got told to wait half an hour for another table to free up. I had two small children with me but they didnt care. I honestly recommend staying away from a place like this, they have no decency or even common sense.

Avoid.Food was average at best, however;Service needs some serious work, truly awful. felt more of a burden on the staff the moment we walked in than welcomed.Tables were wobbly, music was far too loud for a restaurant. Before we had chance to ask for drinks, got bottled water shoved at us, no other option.Didnt even get brought plates or cutlery! hoped they would get brought without asking but not the case, thought it was just because we ordered a platter so we just picked at it with our hands, turns out everyone else had them, pretty annoyed about that, didnt want to ask because the staff really didnt seem like they wanted anything to do with us.At the end of the meal there was some food left that we wanted to take home, asked one of the waiting staff if we could get it packed up, they barely said anything and unceremoniously put a takeaway tray and a spoon in front of us and walked off. didnt feel a very welcoming environment to complain, just paid (far too much for the experience had) and left.Absolutely terrible experience, one of the worst places I've been in huddersfield.

I have recently been to this so called restaurant. Let's start with the service, staff are poorly trained to carry out their tasks and provide a lazy service. The food itself was not any better than the service. We ordered 2 Tawa's for 4 and sides. I can honestly say the food has gone downhill. Let's talk about the food on the tawa. The chicken curry was bland and had no taste or spice (we were not asked if we wanted it to be spicy, mild or medium). The meat was also tasteless. Lamb chops were yellow and hard which looked unappealing and didn't have no taste. The donner meat was cut so thin that it was so hard to eat as it stiffened up. The chicken wings hardly had any meat on them. The chicken tikka was again bland. Chappatis were cold as were the chips. The conclusion after spending nearly £150, is that I would not recommend nor visit this branch again. The food only looks delicious in photos.

Always on point, amazing food!Always worth the 2 hour drive just to eat at this amazing establishment. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. The food is beautiful, every item on the Tawa is cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. Proper home style tasty food. We done and long may you continue.

Food was ok as was the service. Value for money? I would say No. We ordered a tawa for four which in all honesty was not enough for four adults and one child so ended up having to order an additional tawa for two. We spent around £90 in total however we felt the price didn't justify the restaurant itself and the portion size.Plastic plates and cutlery, not enough condiments and the restaurant is a little outdated.
