My wife and I visit from Leeds for breakfast and savour the best scones in the land!

We had the all day breakfast. Very disappointing. I really don't think it was cooked fresh. The sausage was like leather on the outside. And spongy on the inside. It had either been recooked or microwaved to reheat. The bacon was like cardboard. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the mushrooms were delicious. Disappointed it didn't come with toast. Should have gone to wetherspoons

We had lunch before the afternoon dance. 2 hours of mixed music and dance. Unfortunately, it was the first time there and the last dance for 2 months. We will be back.

·

Had bacon on toast this morning! Inedible bacon, and warm bread with no resemblance of having been anywhere near a grill. Dreadful, and this was its second chance!! Never again! Disgusted!,

·

We got there late lunchtime and variety was restricted. The heating dishes didn't exactly keep the food hot either. Good service friendly staff

·

Pathetic service today. Ordered warm food and no cutlery. 3 members of staff said we're busy and the stuff was being washed. Dont deserve to be open as a cafe

·

Pity not more people in. Food good. I had the pie of the day. Very tasty. Was steak and ale, plenty of filling.

·

Had a latte which was tiny extremely bitter barely warm & well overpriced. Scone was dry gaggy & left a taste of baking powder. Disappointing & will try one of the other cafes on the premises in future

·

Very nice cafe. We had a Christmas lunch for £6.95 and you couldn't fault it. They do a good range of sandwiches and paninis too, not to mention buns.

Just returned home from taking my disabled sister to Batley Mills where, after an enjoyable 2 hours shopping, said we decided to eat at Masserellas cafe on the top floor. The time was 1.25pm and Iordered a jacket potato for both my sister and I only to be told that unfortunately there was only one Jacket potato left. I let my sister have it and, disappointed, ordered a cheese & tomato toastie. Whilst the jacket potato was worth £4.90, the toastie at £4.10 most certainly was not. BUT the biggest annoyance of all was when I saw the same waitress deliver 2 very appetising Jacket potatoes to a table less than 30 minutes later. Nobody asked us if we were prepared to wait - simply told none left !!! I have visited this cafe many times but never again!!! I am An exceedingly annoyed customer who would willingly have waited a half an hour for my jacket potato.
