Northern Tea House in Kirklees

The menu looked simple but when the food arrived oh wow! It not only looked good but it tasted amazing. I could taste good quality . The seating was good. Met with a few friends for breakfast. A bit pricier but sometimes it's good to pay a bit more to eat nice and good quality food. I hope they serve fried eggs in future or otherwise I can't go with my children.

Visited earlier this week & had the best avocado on toast (bonus it's Gluten free!) & and a lovely latte - staff are super attentive & friendly - very chilled out venue - you're left feeling unrushed, I look forward to visiting again🙂.

The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. We recommend. :D

Great interior, nice food, big portions, good value for money....busy place... only one issue staff could be more friendly and care about customers.

I always come here for chai latte and lunch. Jacket potato it’s just spot on and the chai latte is so creamy. The atmosphere is so pretty and clean. Staff are absolutely lovely and friendly, thank you for the great service.

Lovely little place, gets busy fast so may have to wait for a seat. The food and coffee are delicious and feels very cosy inside.

Visited yesterday with my friend and 3 month old son - I had my pushchair / pram with me. Although busy the staff were great, we had to wait around ten minutes for a space to come available that would fit my pram in, and the space was perfect for a pram! The food is amazing here, prices are good, coffee made well. I had a scone with jam and cream with a flat white which was really nice. The only thing I’d say is the toilets need cleaning more often.

Lovely place & staff, the best hot chocolate & loved my pancakes with berries, although my daughters full breakfast looked a good choice!

I ordered the American pancakes with strawberries blueberries and caramel sauce and it was delicious so juicy and soft. I also ordered the cafe latte which was the best ever. Amazing food and good vibes.

After never visiting this place, I decided the next meeting I was attending would be here. I was greeted straight away and showed a table. They were however completely agreeable to me choosing another table towards the back. The pancakes with maple & bacon were still being served at 2pm and were the best I have ever had, and I have had a lot! My colleague had blueberry scone with clotted cream and jam. Great collection of teas, mine in a big pot so had 3 cups out of it, with mini bottle milk, and we later had an iced cameral latte. Staff attentive, polite and friendly. Will be back. Reasonably priced too, and at the side of Kingsgate multi story car park.
