A real treat to stop off at this chippy when I'm working in the area. Friendly staff and great fish and chips. Well worth a visit.

Not the best fish n chips but not the worst either probably won't go again

I've had fish and chips from this shop a few times now and they' are much better than any other I've tried in Huddersfield so far, and Ive tried quite q few. The food is lovely and the curry sauce is delicious, very tasty, spot on and the portions are just right so you won't end up wasting any food. I'd highly recommend this chip shop. Next time I'll take a picture of the food and add it onto this review.

fish was great in the fish and chips but they keep the smaller skinny fish for the fish buttys ?!? So basically you paying for batter in a bun!Both fish and Chip where greasy but the chips arnt the worse around here if I’m honest!Chinese curry sauce is lovelyWill not be going back for a 3rd time to be disappointed after all the fish is the most important

Thought we'd try Reed Street fisheries today as we've seen alot of people outside and we're new to the area..chips are so greesy but the portion size is goodSausage was yummyGravy is lovelyNot keen on the curry sauceBread was lovely and softScollop isn't for meFish big but also very greesy(Literally eating and reviewing at the same time)Hence the 3 stars its not the worst but also not the best could do with abit of improving

The food was good, the people were nice however, they are not honest people!!! Bloody thief!!! Told me a figure for the price but charged a bit more off of my card just because I said I didn't want a receipt. Its a shame really because the food was actually nice 😕 next time I'll be paying cash only and double checking it before leaving!

Just had fish and chips for the first time from here. Normally go to Mother Hubbard's but find the chips are really fat. These were hands down better. Freshly cooked, big portions and really tasty. Will definitely be back.
