Robbie's Fish and Chips in Kirklees

Not bad at all fish was lovely oil it was done in past sell by date (tasted a bit burnt)

Chips are dry (I think wrong sort of potato used!) Pleasant staff and clean ace!

New ownership and it shows good size portions and very tasty 😋 will return friendly staff

The fish was beautiful cooked to perfection , thoroughly enjoyed them well, worth a visit

This place unfortunately doesn't cater for Muslims which I understand as its a hassle if you want to sell pork/meat along with fish and chips done in sunflower/veg oil - I can only review the courteous manner in which they answer the phone and speak. It would be brilliant if they did cater for the Muslims in the area as a locally owned chippy is most definitely better than one from a chain or franchise (mother Hubbard's). Lovely place, situated in just the perfect spot. Hope they succeed and continue trading.

Wonderful friendly neighbourhood fish shop. Always nice and greet with a smile. Beats Mother Hubbard's any day.

total rubbish i used to go there as a kid at st marys school cross bank you people who took the premises over ruined not just reputation of brothers and staff but the shop aswell well done you idiots glad youve been closed down but sad you ruined that chippy you morons and yes i have eaten there in case your wondering and it went in the bin please feel free to check me out on fb or trip advisor

Now under new management, Tara & Julian will continue to provide great quality traditional fish and chips, thank you to the Robinson's family for a fantastic handover and for helping us and giving us this amazing opportunity.
