good food, not bad price. Everyone eats even the dogs🐶

First impressions were that the place needs a good vacuuming and surfaces need a wipe. The pale coloured bench seats in need of a good shampoo and clean. Toilet floor and window sills also dusty and dirty. Food overpriced and bland and when we asked for a few more chips to go with my husbands £13.95 lamb kebab, they tried to charge us an additional £3. Would've paid £7 for a kebab and handful of chips but trying to charge £16.95 in total is just greedy. Won't be returning.

Not recommended. Food was overpriced and bland. Service took to long even though the pub was empty when we got there. Didn't enjoy food at all. Poor quality.

My pasta was overcooked and all clumped together and the sauce didn't taste of anything? I did say this politely when asked as I had 2 bites and left it all, yet they didn't even take it off the bill and we had to pay for it anyway even though I had to go somewhere else straight after to actually eat something. Bit disappointed with that, my partner said his pie was alright though.

Brilliant offers on main menu items, tasty traditional food, great for friends or family outing, steak delicious. Staff friendly and welcoming. Plenty of room around tables, not packed in, would recommend for a safe and comfortable meal out

Carvery is excellent, even for vegans, lovely roaring fire, quick and friendly service. The pub quiz is fun on a Friday, with free homemade pizza. A thoroughly good, very reasonably priced pub

Took my daughter for food and it was delicious. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Great warm atmosphere.

Just had an amazing meal for a group of 13 tonight. The food was spectacular! More like high quality restaurant food than cheap pub grub. Id particularly like to recommend the haddock in lemon butter with crushed potatoes, the lamb stew and the moules mariniere.The service was so lovely too, they went above and beyond to make sure our party was well catered for. All the food came out at the same time, all piping hot and looked amazing on the plates.Plenty parking, clean toilets and a real fire to keep us warm.I cannot find any faults whatsoever!Thank you so much!!

Great Sunday carvery, couldn't fault it. £7.95 is incredible value for an absolute plate full. Staff are excellent, helpful and friendly... what more could you ask for?
