Certain bar staff have no people skills at all, walked in with partner and as bar staff don't like her for personal reasons refused service. Not what a pub needs in the current climate. Will not be going back I'll.stickmto.my much friendly local

Fabulous night with family and friends and reconnecting with a few folk I've not seen in years since moving out of Slawit.Brilliant band on too...called Wired...a very talented bunch!The only thing I would improve is...gin should be served in a fish bowl glass 🤗 x

Just as a proper pub should be. Nice friendly staff. Good drinks choice. Good for a quiet weekday afternoon drink or to see a great band on a Saturday evening. All in a comfortable, clean pub without all the fuss and pretensions found at a lot of modern town places. It can get busy with ail trailers on a weekend / Bank Holiday afternoon (as with all in the area) but I'm pleased to see that the landlord and landlady here aren't afraid to remove potential trouble makers before they have chance to start anything and none of the ail trail travellers seem to stay long, so don't let this put you off going. I am happy to recommend a visit. Keep up the good work.
