Tasty Bite in Kirklees

Pleasant helpful staff and the fish & chips are very nice, just a shame that a cash only system in still being used.

Went on on Friday teatime, fish and chips were lovely, asked for lightly battered fish and it was done perfectly.

The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic fish and chips. Such a shame are not open more often than their three frys a week. Far far better than another establishment nearby that gets inexplicable queues.

We have a traditional chippy tea every Friday, we have been going to this chippy for years and can quite happily say they are the best we have ever had, excellent size portions and the staff are very friendly

Staff are wonderful - The young gentleman who served us this afternoon was fantastic with the kids and had top notch customer service. Food was great and reasonably priced - kids finished their plates! Thanks guys :)

Someone said the fish wasn't Haddock - I think it was, and what a lovely bit of Haddock it was too. Big, nicely battered and really meaty. Chips were plentiful and lovely too.Friendly fish bar where the food is fresh and really hot. As a 'southerner' I was persuaded to have 'bits' and that was a tasty naughty treat too. (So it's not all bad up here ;-) )Recommended, for sure.

First went here in 2012 ish and was blown away by taste and quality. far superior than any other place I've been, including the likes of award winners in Whitby. Now living in Essex but when I come back up north working or visiting family I will always try and re-aquaint myself with their splendid delicacies. Highly Recommended!!!
