OK. Dated, small and not overly friendly.Beer ok. Unless you're a local keep on travelling...

Not been to this place for years but after tonight we will be back. We met up with friends for an evening meal together. My OH had the gammon, our friends wife had the lamb shank while our friend and myself went for the rump steak. Each of us agreed our meals were delicious and excellent value. Can't understand why we were the only diners

Chicken wings,chicken wings,all we ever order is chicken wings and they are good 9 out of 10 times.But pls pls send staff around the back more to clear and wash tables it's always dirty.

Cold, no atmosphere, lack of choice of drinks. Lemonade flat. Had to wait for food as chef shopping! Sunday lunch passable, gravy needs to be thicker, extra Yorkshire wouldn't go a miss. Probably wouldn't call again in a hurry. Sorry.

Love it here, it's so friendly and the food is always fantastic, breakfast is a must and doggies welcome x

Just had a lovely Mothering Sunday meal with good variety of options for meals.Really nice place and I highly recomended it

I had a very pleasant lunch with pints of excellent bradfield beer - farmers' blonde and belgian blue. Surprised more cyclists don't stop at this friendly pub. Highly recommended and worth a trip over the pennines

very friendly, excellent real ales, a good food menu all beautifully cooked.not tried breakfast yet, but is available all day.
