The Dusty Miller Mirfield in Kirklees

Good quality and large portions. Friendly staff in a local pub vibed location. Priced between gastro pub and higher end pub cuisine, food and menu is around the same area. Lovely views from the garden and obviously a place that has improved and continues to improve in menu, decor and facilities.

Have eaten here-and brought friends- over a number of years. Sadly, doubt if we’ll ever eat here again. The starter-a spring roll- was lukewarm and tasteless. The fish and chips were okay but the vegetables that came with the fish pie were either reheats or had been boiled to death! So much for “we only serve fresh food “! Complained to the chef but according to the waitress he just shrugged his shoulders!

Lovely staff,good food & very relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend! P.S DOGS allowed in Bar area.

Came for lunch .the server was very helpful attentive and welcoming ..I had very a delicious home made pie and chips gravy mushy peas .I.can't fault the meal or the service

Great food, lovely atmosphere, first class service. Our young lady addressing all our culinary needs did a fantastic job. Megan was prompt, polite and friendly. Service with a smile. Compliments to the chef as well. We will be back. Xx

Just visited this beautiful establishment,,can't praise the staff enough ,(no words can cover how I feel ) So inviting, friendly, such a well kept and homely atmosphere. FOOD SPOT ON ,,well suited to the pocket too ,Tasty food ,However its the best sirloin steak I have eaten in a very long time,, Well worth a visit in my book ,Thank you to all the staff ESPECIALLY THE CLEANER ,,HE'LL KNOW WHO I MEAN xx I'll be back..the ale too 😉

We had a family meeting here haven't seen each other in over a year due to the pandemic and living so far away from each other. I must say this was a great choice. The food was bang on. Fresh meat and advertise local produce. All staff were helpful and friendly.

A great place to eat, good wholesome cooked food, and plenty of choices from the menu. A nice warm Yorkshire welcome plus helpful and polite staff.

Very enjoyable time with family and good food and ale at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly.

Typical pub. Visited twice while we were staying in Mirfield. Staff very friendly on the first visit. When we went back for Sunday lunch was some what different. Took a while to serv the food and staff informed the wrong information. 1st we were told they had GF Yorkshire puddings but when we ordered they didn't. Then the desert we asked about the GF avilabilty and from 3 different staff we were advised a 4 different items. In a hole it's an excellent pub, good selection of food, bar staff very chatty and the bar snacks were great. Sunday lunch was alright but wouldn't put me off coming back. Possible without the wife who requires GF
