The Ephesus Restaurant in Kirklees

Nice decor and attentive service in this central Huddersfield Turkish Restaurant. Mid week 2 course meal deal was very good value at £18. Would recommend the Cheese Roll starter which is a lot tastier and exotic than its name suggests. I had grilled lamb chops main which was lovely with bulgar wheat, yoghurt and salad.Wines were nice as was the Effes beer. Very nice lemon cheesecake dessert.

Used to be our favourite place because of the wonderful service , food, and fantastic attention from the staff. Now, too busy, not enough staff to even ask how your food is. Service was quick, food fast to arrive at table. No check😭 back, nobody asking if we wanted more drinks...just overstretched staff. We only got chance to complain about poor starter when our waiter took our dessert order, and we had his attention for a second. We weren't charged for it ,thank you for that. However, we have been loyal customers for nearly 7 years, but we don't like the Ephesus anymore, so sorry 😭

We have eaten here a few times. The food is always excellent and plenty of choice. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to returning many more times

Food was very nice. We had Chicken Marmaris which comes highly recommended. Atmosphere was good and service was excellent. Will visit again soon.
