The Fox House in Kirklees

Came for a meal last Friday 15th April with a friend. I had fish which was probably the best I've ever had!. The fish was white and chunky and the batter perfect. My friend had pie which he equally enjoyed.Will soon return. Many thanks to everyone

Had a beautiful Sunday lunch. Very tasty, vegetables cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chief and all staff.

First time visiting the Fox House today and will definitely be back. Food was amazing and the service is impeccable, the staff were run off their feet, but still made the effort to give great service. They all mucked in and worked together, always good to see a team working so well to provide the best for their customers

Brilliant Sunday lunch (carvery) though a la carte menu also looked very good (awesome fish on the table next to us) and a nice selection of craft beers. They made room for us muddy walkers even though we hadn't booked. Make as reservation and you won't be disappointed

Very clean and ‘safe’ restaurant environment. Food absolutely 5*! Quality & quantity. Only thing that could improve for this price range would be table service like it used to be. But I presume this is a covid precaution. Worth a visit!!

Great pub for a Sunday roast, excellent food makes it very popular so book in advance, very professionally run by very pleasant staff, good selection of beers at a well presented bar.Clean pub, clean toilets.Can thoroughly recommend 👌.

Had a family meal there yesterday to celebrate my 60th birthday, absolutely brilliant time had by all! Food was excellent and the staff are all friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be eating there again. Highly recommended.

superb service from start to finish .My brother in law phils favorite place to eat and can fully understand why .The place was lovely and warm despite there being 6 inch of snow in the car park on a very cold night . The food was cooked and presented to perfection a very enjoyable evening had by all . The restaurant manager and staff looked after us faultlessly at a more than reasonable cost its a bit of a run out but wont be ower last visit .

Covid precautions meant we had to wait at the door to be seated.....fine unless you are ignored by staff, bar staff can see the door but stood around, waiter looked through us while serving nearby table and manager simply ignored us, all it took was acknowledgment and "be with you in a minute". In the end we walked away and ate at pub near home. Shame as we have eaten here before and had a good experience.

Had a fantastic time in the Fox House. The meal was excellent, well cooked and tasty. We didn't have to wait long and the service was second to none. Catered for gluten free 😋
