I don’t understand all the reviews raving about this place? We thought we would give it a go based on the reviews and we were so disappointed. The chips were undercooked and tasteless, the fish was rubbery, tasteless and the batter tasted burnt and hanging off. Scraps all went in the bin as they tasted burnt also. Portions are also tiny and only come in one size.Service was quick but the food sucked for £15. Will not return unfortunately!

Nice chippy which is open decent hours so it is possible to call in between meals if needed.

I had fish chips and mushy pease from here. Chips were ok but a tiny portion. Fish was tiny and over cooked. batter was very hard. There were loads of pease though probably to hide the sizes of everything else. All came to £8.05. wouldn't try here again. Blues down the road is a much nicer chippy with better portions for about £6

Gotta be worst tasting and dearest in area now, Millbridge fisheries further down beats these by miles and they're £1.20 cheaper, far better quality.

Traditional fish and chips. Not many around anymore. Is what it is, not ruined by doing kebabs! Keep up the good work

Great and tasty fish & chips. Also good helpful staff.

Lovely staff. Lovely fish and chips (not the very best I've had but up there) and reasonably priced considering size and quality. Best part is the opening hours. Open when most other fish and chip shops are shut.
