I've never been overly impressed by the food here on previous visits but we stopped for lunch as we were passing and gave it another try. The food is of such poor quality. It's a shame because the positioning of the place is great and it has some real potential. Staff were really friendly. There's a "children's play area" inside however it's slowly been dismantled to the point it is an eye sore and nothing is left, a lot of things left over don't work and are all stick a pound in machines. Would look better without it!

Lovely place, great atmosphere, nice and busy.Very friendly, helpful staff. Only 20 minutes wait for food even though it was busy. Some in my party had carvery which was fantastic, others ordered off the menu. Separate Gluten free menu with lots of food on offer. Vegan and vegetarian options also.Huge, gorgeous, cakes for pudding, far too much to eat for one, good to share or take home. Forgot to take my phone, so no photos, such a shame.

The food was very tasty, I had the mixed grill, some of my family had the Carvery, my youngest grandson had a burger with salad and chips. Only my two grandsons had pudding as the rest of us were full. The service was great, all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The prices on the menu are very reasonable. This is somewhere we will be going out to again

Our server, Noah, was great. Table cleaned when seated, and although we didn’t really need his attendance (good job, as the servers are flying around because it was peak time to be fair) he did ask us if we were OK and needed anything. Busy session, but we were accommodated and the food was good and great value. All in all, no complaints.

Great food and beverage. Superb service from Jonathan (bar) and nice to seesomeone with a smile on their face during these very strange times that we are all going through. Not five stars, but SIX stars! Recommended, 💯 percent!

Enjoyed a carvery meal with family. Heathfield was very busy, as you'd expect with it being Sunday around 3pm. We were greeted as we entered and sat straight away. Table was clean and ready for us. Service is not as attentive or personable as some restaurants, due to the weight of visitors. However, their operation is well run - so its not needed. We didn't need any help, but if we had, there were plenty of staff buzzing around & happy to help. Carvery was very well stocked, all dishes brimmed with vegetables, potatoes and gravy and 3 roasts being carved. Food tasted great, portions are perfect - you're given your meat and a Yorkshire Pudding. You simply add whatever extras you fancy. My only criticisms would be nit picky. Given they were so busy, had plenty of staff working their backsides off and taking into acvount the very fair prices - £10.99 for a standard Carvery - a right plate full - I can only award 5 stars and ignore any minor gripe I may have had.

Came for my birthday meal last night with 2 friends, it’s was the first time we’ve been, recieved a very warm welcoming on the door, we went an ordered at the bar and was served by a helpful girl called Rachel who explained the whole process for the carvery and gave us our drinks and tickets. The carvery has so much variety and was so colourful. All the food was hot and fresh. We loved our visit and will definitely be returning.

Another great meal out with the family. Celebrating our youngest daughter’s birthday and the food, the service and the fuss when her birthday pudding came out was second to none.

We really enjoyed our tea at Heathfield Farm. The staff were friendly and attentive. There is a good choice of meals to suit all tastes. Some vegetarian options. The ice cream and cakes selection looked amazing but we were too full to order anything maybe next time. Kim was amazing when she looked after us.
