The nook in Kirklees

Beautiful food always go in on my working days nice atmosphere too really friendly staff and customers

Lovely lunch...really nice staff

Called in for breakfast before doing a bit of shopping, lovely ladies cooking and serving the food gave me a nice warm welcome. I ordered the nook big breakfast, 3 bacon, 2 sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, baked beans, 2 fried eggs, slice of spam, I opted for an extra black pudding instead of hash browns, and 2 slices of toast, with a mug of coffee, not latte or capacino or americano, just coffee. All this came to £7, and it was lovely, tasty and hot. The brown sauce was in a bottle rather than those stupid little packets you have to open with a pair of garden shears. Unfortunately I couldn't finish it all leaving a sausage and a slice of toast. Well worth a return visit very soon. Richard.

Lovely place, really good tasty food and all provided by a lovely group of people. Highly recommended.

Normally I love this place when the owner is present but the second she is away the service or the food is just never the same. Server's can be quite rude at times, after been sat 10mins a rush through door I realised other people that came in after were been given their orders before (no preorder as I watched them order whilst sat waiting) when prompting the server her reply was yes I know but its easier to carry 3 cups then 2 in her not so helpful tone. Twice cooked hash browns, missing items from the meal and the coffee tastes more like a weird yoghurt without the coffee. I don't know why but seems if you ain't wearing a visible safety wear and have your butt crack hanging out your not a priority here.

I’ve been to this cafe a few times the all day breakfast is good value , but when the boss is away the service seems to go a bit downhill

My son and I decided to have lunch here. We ordered two hot roast beef sandwiches. The sandwiches were just aired, and tasteless .And the condiment bottles, red sauce and vinegar were laughable. There was just enough in them for one use. Would not eat there again.

Customer service is terrible, I came in and kindly asked if I can use the toilet. They said I would have to buy something which is fair enough. Tried to buy some drinks with card as I had no change and the cash point around the corner wasn't working, neither was the cafe's card machine. So the girl behind the bar said I couldn't use the toilet.I thought it was a bit of a mean way to treat potential customers, will probably never go in there ever and I will tell people to avoid because of that incident.

Great breakfast, though don't visit as much as I've moved from that part of town. When I'm on my walks though I call in and have a mug of tea and a bacon and egg roll. Review below is unfair and just being bitchy They are a cafe not a public convenience!
