I would consider not a very busy day but we ordered our drinks and wanted to order food. The very nice bar person was going to take our order but another member of staff said could we come back in 10 minutes. Apparently the chef was having a meltdown because of a lot of food orders!! I did go back and ordered. My meal was lovely apart from a jug of gravy didnt come as stated on menu, my partner wasn't impressed by his.

Lovely pub. Nice staff. Disappointing food

Lovely Sunday meal with family. Great service. Food was mostly spot on. Good selection of drinks.

We had visited during the day on several occasions and not been disappointed. A visit on Saturday evening a few weeks ago changed our minds though. Although the service was good as usual, the food was very poor despite the premium prices.

Really nice pub and restaurant. Sat in the restaurant was no one in on a Sunday afternoon. Right at the side of the river. Lovely views lovely food. Really attentive staff

We were looking for a new place to have a good Sunday lunch. Going with comments and with the pub being on river side decided to give it try. I must say we were well disappointed. We had two Sunday lunches that were absolutely awful, the meat was under down, vegetables were cold and gravy was similar to tap water. My son's stake was anything but stake. It is really shame because is a little nice pub near the river and could be our Sunday spot in summer.

If you are ever on the M62 near the Brighouse exit and you want a meal that you will want to write about, take the exit, follow signes for Dewsbury and as you are near Mirfield, you will see the Pear Tree on you right. If you are a lover of Thai food make sure before you go that the owner is there as she is from Thailand. The Halloumi fish and chips is AMAZING but, there is enough for two people. Massive portion but they will box the leftovers for you to take home. The Thai meals are as good as in in Leeds City Centre. I was so disappointed the last time I was in West Yorkshire as the Restaurant was not open due to Covid. It’s fantastic, not much more I can say!

A neat pub where you can get good drinks, decent food for a good price! We were just expecting regular pub food yet the food quality and portion exceeded our expectations. If it wasn’t windy, we would have chosen the outdoor seating!Friendly staff, quality food! Will return around Christmas:)

Meals were delicious and well worth the price, service was really good. Only down side was it was raining the evening we went and we couldn't make use of the beautiful riverside beer garden. I would definitely visit again.
