The Pie Shed in Kirklees

First time at the pie shed. Food was plentiful ,very tasty and well presented. Also extremely reasonably priced. Very popular. Not a lot of room between tables. Booking in probably advisable.

Went for lunch today for the first time due to living out of the area now. We will certainly return. Service was great and they were so accommodating as we hadn’t booked but they got us a table really quickly and service was fantastic. The food was delicious and the environment lovely. Impeccably clean and all staff were really friendly

One of, if not the best breakfast meals you can have. An amazing diverse selection with good service and locally sourced ingredients. A must if you are on Mirfield. They can be very busy so make sure you book online a table

The food and service were nice but not for the first time, we have been asked to leave as our table was reserved, but the cafe was not even half full. We would have liked another coffee and perhaps a cake but when our plates were cleared our bill was brought straight out.

Great food fantastic service with a standard breakfast that was very filling.

First time visit since change of name.Room temperature a wee bit on the cool side for us but not life-threaatening.Menu says that food is made from fresh, but I'm not convinced. I had Eggs Benedict with bacon. Warm bacon; warm egg; warm sauce, but I would have been happier if everything was hot rather than warm. My wife's sandwich was equally warm rather than hot.I would normally have brought this to the attention of the excellent waitresses but we just didn't have the time to wait for replacements.A 'not bad' experience but sadly not 'great' hence the 3 stars (maybe could have been 3 and a half)

Lovely food, great range and good value. However service was really slow. I waited 20 minutes before I could catch someone to ask for another drink.... when they do serve you they are lovely, just not good at keeping tabs on people or being present in the cafe.

First time we have been. The food is excellent. And the prices are very reasonable. There are a selection of menus which you can see online and a specials board inside for something different.It is very popular so make a call before you go if you want inside dining. Outside dining is first come first served if you want to take a chance.There is a carpark right in front of the resteraunt. It has inside and outside seating seating areas.The staff are very friendly and it is spotlessly clean.Well worth the visit. You will not be dissapointed.
