Former CAMRA Pub of the Year. Even on a quiet Monday at 4pm opening the quality of the place is immediate. 10+ cask lines, small, cosy siderooms, flagstone floor, fireplace, communal bench seating. The most pleasing throwback possible. One of the best pubs I've visited in the UK.

Always a great welcome. Beers are great too. Look for Jo's pizzas at end of week too. 👍👍

other places are much better. too many kids and tonic "on the pump". my partner likes beer and he's not impressed either. try royal oak or th'alma.

Brilliant so happy to go back there again, and the Linfit Bitter wow awesome. Wow going back again.

A traditional pub with everything that a great British pub should have. Fantastic beer, most home brewed, great atmosphere, open fires, a warm, friendly welcome, all of which leaves you with the overwhelming need to go back as soon as possible

Large choice of real ales plus continental lagers in a good old fashioned pub, complete with real fires and a convivial atmosphere.

Lovely cosy local with great beer and service.

Fantastic pub with 4 rooms and a roaring fire. The view if great too. Would definitely recommend
