We called in as we heard it had reopened and were pleasantly surprised,friendly welcome,good beer,sky sports,lovely beer garden,good music,we had a couple of games of pool,also cafe takeaway attached,big do coming up bank holiday,check it out.

Good pub with good beverages on tap, friendly staff and run a good cafe too

Horrible food. Dogs food have better quality meat than pie I just had. Fish and chips no worth even £2. Very disappointed

New tenants friendly and welcoming! Have plenty of past experience of the trade! Nothing was too much trouble. Booking discussed Inc two with dietary allergies and well received. Excellent menu that can be adapted to suit! Booking made! Looking forward to returning.Returned on Christmas Eve to a warm welcome. Table reserved, food and service spectacular. Atmosphere superb for us, quiet & easy listening Christmas music in the background. Food fresh & perfectly cooked. Nothing too much trouble. This place will certainly be on our regular return list....We're told they do Sunday lunches too so plan to book!!

Loverly beer garden. Great for the kids. Bouncy castle and a goid swing set. Parking and loverly staff. Very helpful. Good value basic menue Friday through Sunday. Give em a go.

Good pub with good atmosphere,only down side had no hand pulled beer on at time ,said some was arriving later ,on Sunday afternoon.

Popped in to see if the place had changed... Happily to say new owners are selling good food and beer at fair price.. With a walm welcome.. Wish them all the best and thanks for a nice night... We will return

Called today for bar snack. Told wait would be 15 minutes even though only 8 other people in the whole pub. Meal actually took 35 minutes to arrive. We both ordered ultimate burger which comes with chips and onion rings. When it arrived the chips were cold, salad had seen better days, the chicken was like rubber and there were no onion rings. It was by far the worst meal we have ever had and no one asked us if everything had been ok, although it was obvious by the amount left on our plates it wasn't. We mentioned after we had paid that it was not good, but the lady behind the bar did not seem interested. Would not recommend to anyone.

Lovely friendly pub a young couple who are running it . Its children and pet friendly. I have not tried the food yet but it smells and looks lovely.
