Hands down the best place to eat in Batley, everything was spot on. The lamb chops are to die for!!! Nothing was too much trouble, service was exceptional. Really friendly staff and management. Is now under new management. Good value for money too. I'm definitely going to be a regular. Good food and good vibes.

Fantastic meal out with the girls. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Really made the evening that the food was spot on and great value for money! I will definitely be bringing the family back.

Staff were good and polite enough but food was shocking, no lamp chops not even chick peas or rice , curry meat tasted horrible the nan was even more shocking like rubber, Sheekh kebab not fresh it is a shame we came from far for this place we hadn’t eating even half what they put ended up going to a pizza place to compensate for the ruining night. We didn’t mind paying extra if it was worth it. Not going back there , hope mangers take note of this because it is nice place and has a lot potential.

I thought I'll try this Tawa place out, as I've tried many before. It was nicely presented, only little niggle was, you couldn't really change one of the dishes to lentils or a vegi dish. You get what you given. Good portion sizes, slightly over priced. It's worth a shot of the one off occasion.

3 years ago food was finger licking perfect . I went recently ordered tawa for 5 of us food was to much for us but couldn't believe how the food was 😩

Read about this place. So I visited it on 26/02/22.Believe me I was impressed. From the politeness of the staff, service and quality of food you could not fault them. Pop down you won't regret it!!!

Delicious traditional food including naan/roti , bbq, chicken and lamb curry, doner kabab and chips in one big pan called tawa. Yumlicious lassi and Kashmiri Qahwa👌👌👌👌

First time trying this place and I wasn't disappointed, the service provided by the waitress was superb, the Tawa was bigger than expected and it was all cooked perfectly. Reasonable priced for the amount off food you get. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Great food, attentive service. Definitely worth a visit and you won’t be left disappointed. Hearty food and generous portions. Only downside was no menu to browse through or itemised receipt upon payment.

So there was 7 of us. Booked table before we arrived..it was a cold October night. I notice it was cold at the entrance and in the restaurant. Was seated with 2 mins of arrival. Staff was polite and helpful. She said there is no menu and its just tava for 2 , 3 or 4. We ordered to take 2x3s . Food arrived within 15 mins. Food was ok..wasn't out of this world but ok, bit of everything from chips to doner meat. Couple of curries in the midde. I gave them 7 out of 10..Plus points. Nice average decent food, family atmosphereDownside. Cold place , no tap water. No one offered to me to see a menu because it doesnt exist. No sweet menu .Overall.. good desi down to earth..no frills. Lacks the wow factor!
